This is something that is being overlooked.

Jerrell Cherry - WDE
Davin Cotton - DE/DT
Nelson Jenkins - DE/DT
Dominic Livingston - NT

That’s four guys that were able to redshirt this season and can provide depth for 2019

Agreed

Not everyone is a college student spending their entire life on tigerdroppings. Some have to work, visit the site infrequently, and ask questions you've seen a hundred times because it might be all you do.

This is Miles Recruiting to the tee. Projects to play oline tackles and lack of signing true Dt's. Talent at the skill positions but no true dept in the trenches. Should have just kept miles. Meatball needs to go. We need to bring in a DL recruiter to get some real DL talent. Theres no guarantee we even get all the instate talent at DT with O and meatball next year.If lawerence and the jr's declare our whole 2019 season just went down the toilet.

Louisiana has a huge D line class in 2019, we will be fine. We have plenty of depth for next season. The O line was the real issue and we have almost an entire O line coming in, not to mention dare and Hines moving over.

These plus Hines moving back puts me more at ease with the depth. Especially if Rashard and Fehoko come back. That will be some solid depth along with Shelvin and Alexander.

Where are y'all getting Hines moving back to defense? He's probably our starting RG next year.

was thinking the same thing.

Kardell and Lewis, could... maybe... possibly change that. But that's a lot of crystal ball there and we need the depth, at worst, for a guy who played ALOT with little experience and did very well.

In short, I just don't see it barring a miracle with Ingram returning.

O knows the situation and I'm sure he's working hard to land some big DL players for next year. He's a former defensive line coach, so if there's one area O knows the importance of building depth and talent, he's the guy. O has proven a lot to me this season and I have full confidence he will make something happen!

The D-Line recruiting under Coach O has been very subpar.

He signed 7 d linemen last year and most are redshirting. If you are relying on true freshman d lineman you are in trouble. LSU has a chance to have significant returning upper classman starters on the d line as well as those redshirt freshman/sophomores from 2018 recruiting cycle. They could be extremely deep at d line next year.

With that said they need to continue to recruit d line and need more in this class or you will be in trouble again.

5 and 2 switched to offensive line. Of the 3 remaining, all are redshirting.

True. Next year, we could be extremely deep. Hopefully the returning guys can keep developing and a couple can turn into dominant sec linemen. I'm looking at you Glenn Logan! You came out of high school ranked one spot lower than Quinnen Williams.

Yep. At least we have one guy, but I'd really like to add two or three more.
