There are 174 defensive backs, 155 wide receivers, 136 defensive linemen, 99 linebackers, 83 quarterbacks, 83 offensive linemen, 68 running backs, 35 tight ends, 8 athletes, 7 punters, 6 kickers and 1 long snapper.

That’s 855 players with more to come. Will end up being well over 1000 by summer.

Teams that have a good scouting department and a better than most eye for talent who have left themselves room should have a field day.

FCS teams will reap the benefits

William and Mary only signed 6 during the signing period. The coach said that there are going to be a lot of players in the portal they are recruiting. Coupled with the lack of fall seasons in a lot of states a lot of players who would normally deserve a scholarship are going to fall through the cracks.

Whoever gets Ryan Hilinski is getting a good QB. Being away from Bobo will be a positive for him.

Are we still on that linebacker that is transferring?
If you’re referring to Strong, he already signed with us. If someone else, I have no idea.

This is exactly why kids have to sit out during ordinary years. This is college free agency.
