Hayes Fawcett:
BREAKING: Rocco Spindler aka “The Monster of the Midwest” has just released his Top 10 Schools!?

Tweeter Machine

Guy should be a damn 5-star just for having recruiting sites calling him "The Monster of the Midwest". At the moment, I can't remember of a recruit having a nickname like that. Pretty cool.

Hell, Rocco is a pretty damn cool name itself and the dude still gets a kickass nickname. Has to be a very good football player.

Hope to hear one of the hacks on ESPN announce next signing day that "The Monster of the Midwest" has chosen LSU and will now be known as the "The Beast on the Bayou".

6'4 1/2" 295 lb. 4-star OG. #2 OG in the country

Pretty impressive that Arizona State seems to find their way into a lot of recruits' top schools.

They might not end up with many of them, but it's still impressive what Herm is doing there.

I guess these long-time NFL coaches who are “past their prime” and coaching in college now can still “relate” to high school kids and maybe even be highly respected.

**cough Linehan cough**

If Coach Eaux wants him and is on the case, I would not be surprised it were to happen.

The highest rated TE EVER who was from Georgia - Arik Gilbert WAS NOT coming to LSU. He was not going anywhere but Alabama.

247's funny little crystal ball thing-a-ma-jig:
Alabama 88%
Georgia 12%
LSU - Oops no more percentages left. I wonder where he is going to go for college??????

He just looks like a Michigan,Norte Dame, or Wisconsin player for whatever reason.

This doesn't mean that CBs to Bama are actually indicative of someone choosing LSU, though. Just like how the fact that justin jefferson was a 2/3* recruit doesn't mean it's better to be a 2/3* guy than a 4/5* guy.

I'm certainly not saying we're out of the race, but the fact that Gilbert surprised everyone isn't evidence that guys being predicted elsewhere are actually more likely to come here

Did he really surprise EVERYONE???

When Eaux said some BIG recruits were calling, you didn't believe him?

Just because recruiting services, insiders and this recruiting board don't know shite about where recruits are going does not mean NO ONE knows.

If Eaux smiles, be happy. He knows more than anyone you could even imagine.

I mean...I can't imagine many kids not wanting to play for Herm! I do understand why not all want to play at ASU however.

Marvin Lewis is a defensive coordinator over there too. There is opportunity to get coached by multiple coaches with decades of NFL experience at ASU right now.
