There has been nothing but mass hysteria and negativity this whole weekend over Ishmael Sopsher. One recruiting "guru " cryatal balled him to BAMA on Friday . One. The predictions for LSU are about 80 % by other gurus, yet the chicken little wave has engulfed this board. Stop acting like a beaten little brother.

So what if he went to BAMA and bypassed the LSU / Georgia game. He will be here to watch BAMA and LSU heads up, likely next week also. Maybe his absence was a good thing and allowed LSU coaches to focus on som eother high level recruits. I will stop short of saying that was his plan all along, but you never know. No one knows.

What I do know is it is long past time to quit conceding and act like we belong. All that does is beget more negatiivty and unfounded snide remarks at the coaching staff and their recruiting prowess.

Respect the staff for what they have accomplished. The much maligned last recruiting class and transfers are making significant contributions to the Top 5 ranking this team has achieved.

Respect the recruits and their families as they go through the process. Quit over reacting to every hand sign, offical visit and unofficial visit, specualation about payoffs, and any other ridiculous things your minds create out of thin air.

Stop the cheapshots at the recruits and their parents any time they don't pledge their allegiance LSU. By February this will likely be a top 5 class which will continue to fill needs. Don't sabotage the coaches with your snarky comments.

One final thing. Eliminate He gone from your posting. It is neither original or enlightening and confirms your inability to post a coherent and thoughtful comment

Well spoken. I concur with everything stated. Act like we belong. LSU will field a talent squad regardless. Just go ask Georgia?

If he wants to be paid an NFL salary and risk being processed we might as well concede now and move on. The pipeline into this area needs to be shut down now. This shite would have never happened when my grandfather and his buddies were alive. Even bear didn’t come into the Florida parishes like this.

It’s time for some payback. We know local coaches are getting paid, and our DAs, US Attorney have full subpoena power. It’s past time to use it. It’s all that has to be done. You threaten “the machine” like that and they will back down. No recruiting area or kid is worth exposing their whole corrupt system, particularly since they have repeated offender status. This should have been done years ago. You either have to match the deal or shut it done

I can agree with the point of your and totally get what us being conveyed. The problem is that until a "rampant" case involving millions of dollars, like the current basketball case, comes to fruition, those DAs and US attorneys arent concerning themselves with a small place in LA involving high school football recruits because the home school is getting burned. Its not widespread enough nor enough money involved for them to bring an investigation. They have bigger fish to fry in the crime world. This is the ncaas supposed job and they arent good enough to do anything about it.

Nope. Don't use no double negatives in a sentence.

Is his official visit scheduled for the State game? He may still come on an unoffical and save the official for BAMA

I dont follow crystal balls. I was listening to one of the most inside connected recruiting guys for LSU, Shea Dixon. He did not say he was gone but in his years of experience you watch the visits. They speak louder than words. He blew off an opportunity to see #13 vs #2 to go see #1 vs a SEC rent a win. His only other scheduled visit to LSU is to see them play that #1 team. As I said he did not say he was gone... he just said that was a big red flag and dont be surprised to see LSU put out more offers for DL in the coming weeks.
