This is what any coach would do. In the NIL world it takes a lot more than this. Optimism about WW though

You are ONE BILLION percent right about that at this moment. However, if Wade follows an Oates type trajectory here (and we now have the ALIGNMENT for that to be possible), you will see basketball jump baseball in popularity at LSU. Wait and see.

It's why a lot of of the baseball bros wanted to keep McMahon and pissed all over Wade. They know what's likely coming.

I will be surprised if we are not in the NCAA tourney year 1.

It will be VERY disappointing if LSU isn't in the tournament next season. Rebuilds take one offseason now. Wade has taken a team with a losing record the year before and put them in the NCAA Tournament at his last two stops.

15million allows for "mistakes" as well. One thing Wade is really good at is talent evaluation.

SEC is a tough fricking league these days, but I think he'll squeak into the tournament with like a 9 seed his first year then have some momentum after that.

I really hope he gets some good assistants. Love the Stansbury addition, but we need some more basketball minds. I would like to see better defense this go round and some better offensive and inbounds sets.
