I’m ready for UHigh to disappoint us again. LSU does so much for that school and gets nothing in return.

I’d be interested to see a break down of where all graduating seniors go to college, not just the athletes. If I were enrolled at UHigh for 12+ years of schools, I’d probably go to college somewhere else too. Esp if the parents have the means.

He and Blaine Bradford going to other schools is just brutal. Seems to be the case more often than not with local elite talent.

Mackenzie Scott and Michael Dell are both UT alum

Lol, neither are alumni of UT. Scott never attended UT, she went to Princeton. Have no idea why one would think she went to UT. Dell spent 1 year at Texas, and dropped out after his freshman year after a successful startup selling newspapers in 1984. I'm right per usual ;)

Me, "I don't think there are any Texas or Texas A&M alumni richer than Graves". Spent a long time in free time researching as I'm curious to this. That was a true statement I made.

Dell - $125 bil (but spent 1 year at UT)
Graves - $17.2 bil (crazy bc I remember Shreveport getting their first Canes just ~20 years ago)
Hildebrand - wide range showing $7 bil to $13 bil on google, don't know the answer, but it's less than Graves any way.
Robert Rowling - $10 bil

So Graves has maybe 2x what Hildebrand has. Based on what you said in last comment about Dell being able to buy and sell Graves over and over; well after my research, "Graves could buy and sell Hildebrand over and over." Richest alumni from Texas University is Robert Rowling, worth $10 bil, so Graves is worth 70% more than him. Hildebrand might be worth more than Rowland, but unknown, but known less than Graves.
McCombs, business school namesake, is worth $1.7 bil. So Graves is worth 10x, or 1,000%, what he is.

Lowry Mays is richest TAMU I found at $2 bil. Business school is named after him at TAMU. But Todd Graves is worth 800% what the single richest Texas A&M alumni is, Lowry Mays.

While Todd Graves has supported LSU in the past, he's a UGA grad. It was his friend and business partner that went to b-school at LSU. Graves seems to really support a lot of different universities and communities and isn't singularly focused on giving to LSU athletics.

He's from Baton Rouge based on wiki. He started his first Cane's 300 ft from campus. I've never seen him support UGA like LSU based on how he's at CWS, always in pics with Skenes, Nuss, Jayden, and many times I forget specifically but just with LSU athletes or BK in so many pics. My opinion, which could be far off, is that he was one of those hometown 18 year olds that was sick of LSU being everywhere growing up, so went to another university, but post grad realized Baton Rouge was home the whole time. That's just my pickup from a generalized fan standpoint.

Texas A&M both have many many billionaires worth more than graves

You're wrong. Texas A&M richest alumni, Lowry Mays, is worth only 12% what Graves is worth, Lowry Mays is richest TAMU alumni at $2 bil net worth. Graves is $17.2 bil. I don't think you realize how few people have $17,200,000,000 on earth. It's in the double digits. That Texas Tech NIL donor making news lately. Graves is worth 800% what he is, as it was said he sold and got $2 bil for his company..

Texas has 0 alumni richer than Graves too. Dell dropped out after his freshman year of Texas. 1st richest Texas University alumni is Robert Rowling at $10 bil or Jeff Hildebrand worth between $7-13 bil. Graves is worth 70% more than Texas University's 1st richest alumni if Hildebrand is on lower band of that stretch.

So 0 Texas or Texas A&M alumni who is worth more than Todd Graves.

I researched this for like a long time now because it fascinates me. 0 alumni from Texas or Texas A&M richer than Graves. I mean, if you count 1 year as a student at University of Texas, then it'd be 1.

Lowry Mays is richest TAMU I found at $2 bil, 12% of what Graves is worth. 1st richest Texas University alum is either Robert Rowling - $10 bil or Hildebrand - $7 bil to 13 bil, so give or take 60% of what Graves is worth.

Again, $17,200,000,000 is a shite ton of money.

First let’s get one thing straight, Richard Anderson is better than both of them.

Brown is a college Center that can get away with playing anywhere on the field in HS. Would not be an insurmountable loss unless all you care about is stars.

I have no idea about any of it, but I’m riding with Lester on this.

It’s the “cool” thing to do these days for the local kids. Anyway to stir up attention. Committing to LSU does nothing for Brown.

Commits to Aggie he immediately becomes the talk of the town and he embraces the LSU fan anger with twitter tolls and dollar signs while he griddys down the hallway for another Tik Tok.

Insiders saying it's a toss up .

A&M : “Every time I go there, it feels like another home,” Brown previously told Rivals. “Coach Tony and Coach Spence — I have a good relationship with them and with Mike Elko. I feel great about my fit there. They broke down everything that will help me as an Aggie and also with football … I’m also getting closer with the players.”

LSU : “Being a kid from the 225, it’s a blessing to have a chance to put on for the city and for the state,” Brown told Rivals after his LSU official visit. “After sitting down with the branding team and with the coaching staff, the big picture of how life is after football — I’m pretty sure everyone in the country would know that this place can set me up for life … I’ve seen everything and what I needed to see, honestly,

Our intel points to people in Brown’s circle pushing for the five-star to play close to home at LSU — and a compelling NIL opportunity that keeps the Tigers within range here.

Sounds like this decision won’t be made until right before he commits. If money was the same, I have no doubt he would pick LSU. Feels like Jacoby Mathews all over again.

I’ll be shocked beyond words if he picks LSU after initially canceling his BR OV.

Personally, I don’t think we land Brown and I don’t think he’s going to be that great of a player at the next level. It may help with optics, but he just doesn’t seem like someone we HAVE to get. That was Bradford.

Completely disagree it’s actually the opposite imo. Bradford would’ve been a nice get but we already have two top 200 overall players safety in the class in Aiden hall( very similar gsme to Bradford) and dylan puerter (arguably the best coverage safety in the entire class ). Also added a freak athlete with high upside in Washington. Adding a game changer next to Richard Anderson sets the DL up to be dominant for the next 3-4 years if we were able to get Lamar brown to pair with big rich. He’s also a rare athlete at his size he’s much harder to find then a Bradford
