It's not the fact he's going to bama. It's that he chose to PLAY FOOTBALL for them over us. That's what it's about: Football. If you act like its for anything else, you're just kidding yourself.

Devall is not catching hell right now because he didn't make a spectacle of "the decision". It's too bad for him that he couldn't get his family on board with his decision and just commit early if his mind was made-up. He should have handled it better... I understand that he is very young. I am sure that he will learn from this.

That said, the reaction from some fans is not about his choice of college as much as the way he chose to reveal that choice. I don't think the vast majority of fans are bashing his family at all. At the end of the day, I think he should stick with his commitment. For whatever reason, Bama is obviously where his heart is.
