Let’s be clear that Bama essentially deserves the bump bc year after year, they prove that they know what they are doing when it comes to recruits.

If the greatest coach in the history of the game thinks you are good enough to play for him on scholarship , you are underrated if recruiting analysts have you as anything less than a high four-star.

The obsession with recruiting ‘rankings’ is so strange. They’re all subjective. I seriously doubt anybody, including those of you who bitch about rankings, have watched enough film and analyzed these guys at camps, so if you’re bitching because the 252nd ranked player is not above the 207th ranked player, the onus is on YOU
if you like a particular player, great, follow his recruitment as you wish... but all the fricking bitching and crying about rankings is idiotic and pointless IMO

That’s interesting but not a very good metric for measuring talent. Bama gets more talent than us. They do better according to the recruiting services, they put more players in the league, and they beat our arse.

Who cares... we have some studs and everyone knows it. I hope Langston works out and ends up working with this DL talent out the gate. We have some real talent there now!
Let’s work on this OL and build that up and keep adding talented depth along the front 7. QB talent is up there. Just about every other position except LB and OL is good to elite. But we’ll see about that LB spot soon too. Might have some studs there as well.

I’m betting White and Sampah will come out of nowhere and be really good this year and that Bo just didn’t know what to do with them. Same with Webb at DE. They all seem like good fits as hybrid guys in the multiple front attack Jones will use.
