Damn, Parkway catching bad breaks, losing their two best players in back to back weeks. Hope for a speedy recovery.

It looked REALLY NASTY. Just like Rogers last week kind of nasty. Same type camera work and everything. You could see Marshall urging the trainers out to tend to his ankle at about a 60 degree angle.

Probably won't start showing up on Twitter until tomorrow. The game just went into halftime at the Battle on the Border in Shreveport. I have a flofootball account and am watching it online.

It happened, trust me. Quarterback from Parkway threw a deep Go Route and from what I saw Marshall and the DB from Pearl had their feet both tangled up and both went pop. The camera did not catch the player from Pearl's injury as he rolled towards the middle of the field as Marshall rolled to his sideline which was right beside him. His eyes got big and you could see his ankle was clearly broken. They were out on the field for about 15 minutes it seemed and Justin Rogers was crying his eyes out on the field in street clothes.

The Pearl player also had a catastrophic injury. Both players carted off the field.

If it was on the same field, they need to fire that damn groundskeeper...

Louisiana can let its roads go to shite, but we take care of our football fields.

Hate this for both of these young gentlemen. I hope they recover fully and quickly, and somehow grow from the process.

I don't believe Rogers was injured on this particular field.

I would be devastated as a fan of Parkway to see the season go down the toilet in that fashion.

As for recruiting I hope Marshall's ankle isn't too bad to inhibit his recovery time for next season.

Here is the play. Did somebody say it was broken ankle because there other things it could be such as ligaments, etc?

Regardless, wish him a speedy recovery.

Nevermind. They took it down

You say that like he died. He should recover and be 100% for college ball.

Dmn that sucks. Questioning the field crew if this is the same field that his QB hurt his leg on.

It's not the same field. This was at Battle of the Border at Independence Stadium. So, field turf

It was a break and probably just had to be set and then placed in a cast. Broke mine my freshman year in HS in late January and was able to start playing baseball that spring. This shouldn't affect him at all as far as college goes. We've got some very fine orthopedic surgeons up here in Shreveport/Bossier.

If it was a break you are correct. If there is any ligament damage though you can expect it to be much longer of a recovery. He is very lucky if he broke an ankle bone without injuring ligaments.
