gotta be one of the weakest arguements given every year by morons like you who have just started following recruiting.

Chavis was the only one keeping you from getting killed the previous two years while your offense was abysmal. Top ten defenses while being on the field so much because the offense couldn't generate possession is pretty damn impressive in my book.

But this is a thread about Lache, is it not?

Wait till AL and Fl get a hold of that mustang package and we will see what you have to say about Chavis!

Reed article said nothing about his mother telling him to leave the state.

Exactly, thank you. Clearly coors was just making that up. Or maybe this narrative got twisted around over on a vols board and guy is just repeating the vols' kool-aid story.

I do think he is looking around and there is a chance he leaves.

Sure. There is a chance. But its July. The process will run its course, the kid will take his visits and watch the season, and in the end he will end up an hour up the road where he belongs.

The same reason Jordan Allen hasn't commited yet...hes enjoying the process. That still doesn't change the fact that Allen will sign with LSU, and Reed will be too.

I really have to question how this turned into a pissing contest over Chavis.

At any rate, Chavis was very inconsistent at Tennessee and alongside his good years; he had some very, very awful years as well.

However, LSU's complete defensive staff this year is a definite upgrade from last year.

Chavis was anything but incosistent at Tennessee. He is a hell of a coach. Chavis and Cutcliffe were both a huge reason for fulmers success at UT. The only problem Chavis had at UT was stopping Florida. Which alot of people in the conference have had problems with Florida.

Reed has said he wants out of LA. He has not given big clues. But he has said he wants to go somewhere with someone sense he is leaving LA(likely). He was considering staying in LSU cuz his mom was an LSU fan, although he wanted to leave, his mom was sick and dying. His mother on her death bed asked him to follow his dream of moving somewhere better right before passing. The LSU boards are just now figuring out they probably lost him.
He has wanted to leave Lousiana and play in a big time program. He is good friends with Lache and wants to go where he goes. They seem to be making decision together.
LSU is not totally out but not a favorite. If Lache goes to LSU that could change things.

Reed is no lock for LSU

Nice cut and paste of what some moron wrote on your site.

Give me a break. If you think we aren't going to get a QB in here you have to be smoking weed. Scroggins is going to be a Vol. If not Scroggins (which it will) it will be Rettig. Limasion is already a silent (JC all american QB). Plus Newton could be next if he plays well during the season.

We're supposed to be impressed? Scroggins is good, but how many true freshman not named Jordan Jefferson can play at this level?

Lamaison sounds just like the Juco reaches Orgeron made when he was at Ole Myth.

Why are you talking like Reed has said one thing about Tennessee? He showed up at your camp, didn't work out, and not one thing was written about him there afterwards.

I suggest that you pay the $9.99 a month and get a subscription, so maybe you'll have a clue what you're talking about.

Auburn let's recruits throw toilet paper in trees. Tenn. makes them get near naked and chant. Maybe we need to come up with a clever hook like that?

Your problem against Florida has been that you run for about 1 yard a game against them. Chavis has done fine, except for one year where he had much worse personnel than he'll ever have at LSU. It's pretty sad when I know more about Vol football when you do.

Things with Reed are wide open at this point. I remember the last time someone(Orgeron) was "for sure" going to LSU over Tennessee.

Money talks.

At the end of the day, I'm happier with Haley than I would have been with Orgeron. He's a hell of a recruiter but he's a walking violation.

What is it with LSU fans making themselves feel better by dubbing everyone that recruits against them a "violation waiting to happen"?
