Let me ask you this........
So you're telling me, Kiffin might let this guy run his offense?
Might I remind you that he stole a fellow student's laptop, scratched off the serial number, then when the cops came to talk to him he went and threw said laptop out of his dorm window.
Yes, he clearly makes quick, accurate, and intelligent decisions and will probably be a good choice to run the offense, no doubt about that.

No, I'm calm but I have a short fuse for stupidity which many of you Vol posters have been slinging lately.
I feel just fine about Reed.
And I've not changed my opinion about Kiffin......ever.....even before he was at Tenn.

1) Born to be a Tiger - who knows Lache personally - was on here a couple of weeks ago when the Barners were about to jizz themselves over the kid and told everybody that Lache wasn't committing anytime soon and that HE WOULDN"T BE SURPRISED TO SEE TWO MORE SEC SCHOOLS ENTER THE RACE.
A lot of people were guessing those two schools were Tennessee and Florida.
2) Reed - I have read the articles and he never, ever said his mother told him to leave the state. You vols should really stop making this crap up.
Look at it logically. He is from a small, very Louisianan town an hour down the road from LSU, who happens to need WRs at this point.
He's not leaving the state.
3) How often do these package deals actually work out? Seriously, ya'll need to take these package rumors with a grain of salt. Vols might be overtaking the Barners for most gullible fan base in America right now.

Reed has said he wants out of LA. He has not given big clues. But he has said he wants to go somewhere with someone sense he is leaving LA(likely). He was considering staying in LSU cuz his mom was an LSU fan, although he wanted to leave, his mom was sick and dying. His mother on her death bed asked him to follow his dream of moving somewhere better right before passing. The LSU boards are just now figuring out they probably lost him.
He has wanted to leave Lousiana and play in a big time program. He is good friends with Lache and wants to go where he goes. They seem to be making decision together.
LSU is not totally out but not a favorite. If Lache goes to LSU that could change things.

Good stuff. That's all we need. Some Vols homers arguing with Aubbie homers over where Lache signs. This is rich.

They've apparently taken the "follow your dream" quote, combined it with the rumor that Reed wanted to leave the state out of grief (who knows where that rumor started, btw), and created this bullshite story where Reed's mother told him on her deathbed to pick up and move out of Egypt-land and trek to the promised land of Knoxville!

I have not said he's coming to UT but if you guys are so sure he is going to LSU...why hasn't he committed? The kid sounds wide open in everything I have read.

I don't think Reed is a lock. I think he's an intelligent guy who wants to make sure he makes the best choice for himself and sees as much of the country as he can. Like he said in a recent interview, he hasn't even started his senior year yet.
Allen hasn't committed either and yet everyone knows where he will be going. Everyone has different motivations for their actions and different strategies.
Like I said, I realize he isn't a lock but I'd put a pretty hefty sum of money on him being a Tiger come NSD.

Reed article said nothing about his mother telling him to leave the state. It talked about how his mother wanted him to go ahead and go to vegas for the 7 on 7 thing and following his dreams. I didn't get anything about going to a college other than LSU from that article.
I do think he is looking around and there is a chance he leaves. I think he likes Tennessee. He likes Wilson as do alot of kids from LA. I think him and Seastrunk are pretty good freinds. Good enough to follow him to college? Who knows? But he is far from an LSU lock.
