From Rob Lewis of Rivals.com(VolQuest):
quote:

As unlikely as it sounds we're hearing that they're seriously in the mix with Seastrunk. I would be hard-pressed to see them closing that one with the RB's on campus, but we keep hearing he's looking hard at Tennessee.

Now, I'd be absolutely shocked if he came to Tennessee, but I found it odd that he's even looking at us.

Even as an Auburn fan; I'd find it absolutely hilarious if Tennessee pulls into the race ala Auburn and suddenly becomes his favorite.

Kiffen and staff are up to some sketchy business. Between all the violations that have already come out, the negative comments about recruits, and the miraculous prospect 'switches' and/or commitments that happened at the 11th hour--It is only a matter of time before UT gets hit hard.

If he doesn't come to LSU, I think tenn is the place for him. That way there will be about 4 5* running backs standing around with nothing to do, they can't hurt you if they ain't in the game...

Telling a recruit from SC if he went to South Carolina he would be pumping gas the rest of his life.

Making the comments that the people in Pahokee can't even afford shirts and shoes

Accusing the Pahokee school that they intentionally did not fax Nu'Keese's papers.

yep, secondary violations will get us on probation in no time.

Of course Kiffin didn't say that.

The recruit and his coach were playing a joke.

I, for one, can't imagine Kiffin saying something like that.

I'm joking.

If you guys land LS, wow! You guys would be all RB, no QB, WR, or OLine. How is this attractive to a RB?

Secondary violations can lead to worse things. More than anything, it catches the NCAA's attention.

Let's just say, catching violations is never a good thing.

May have been disputed. Not sure--I do remember reading the original report.

No disagreement about Kiffen's other 'statements.'

Dude. Everybody is seriously in the mix with Seastrunk. Just depends on who's doing the interview.

If Tennessee is in the mix with Seastrunk, that means that he's not "all Auburn" as has been said. It also means that LSU is right there as well and this puts to rest the Trovon Reed to Auburn talk as well.

Good. Let him look around. He's not going to Tennessee. They just got Bryce Brown and they will be horrible this year just like Auburn will. At the end of the day, I still think its between Texas and LSU with LSU winning out.

Considering this is an LSU board, there's lots of chirping from a program that hasn't won the SEC in over a decade.

You would think that Lache wouldn't end up at a program with such an awful OL situation. Both Tenn and Aub are down there with the likes of Vandy and Moo St for how bad their OLs look in the future. LSU's, on the other hand, is as good as anyone's.

When it comes to college football recruiting these days, nothing surprises me.

Looks like the UT rivals site needs to sell some subscriptions.
