Lol.

Word is that they had the stadium lights on and videos going on the jumbotron as well.

But they do that for practices all the time so it's no a "gameday simulation".

It all really depends on how you define the word "is"?

They don't use the fog machine on game days so it's really not a violation if you want to get right down to it.

So I guess UT would not be able to violate any recruiting rule, by this logic, unless they packed the stadium for a recruits visit.

The university became aware of the violation when the compliance staff read a prospect’s account of the visit in a news article.

Here's the answer to the question, "Why did they self report the violations?" It made the news. Same with the other infractions. SOOOO, if they have no clue as to what the rules are, and they only report violations that either make it to print or are caught on tape, just how many violations do we think they actually had?

BTW, "Special K" is now the official name for Wittle Wane Kiffin. What a frickhead.

And these assholes came in late! Imagine how thoroughly they could have broken the rules if they had a full year to work with!

Probably just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the violations that occurred just in this season.

Not sure if this has been posted, but one of the reported violations involved Janzen Jackson. What was reported on the local sports radio (99.1) in Knoxville was that a fog machine was used as Jackson entered the stadium. You cannot simulate any game experience with a recruit.

It is kinda rich for the newb coach to spout off about Meyer breaking a rule, be wrong about the rule, and then be violating rules at the same time

Anyway, I'm not sure this one should count... if they wanted to similuate a game day experience they should show tape of Tebow running up 60 on them

If there are no punishments handed out for these minor violations, why are they cosidered violations. You always hear of minor infractions but never anything about the punishment.

Fog Machine my arse..it was a Still brewing up some good corn liquor for dem boys. Didnt want the Feds to get involved so they made up the fog machine idea so they would only have to deal with the NCAA.

Golden! Reporter said that Kiffin was the oppsite of Urban Meyer so he called Lane "Rural Kiffin".

Did anyone watch O's face while on TV answering questions? He had the sickest expression.......like he just got caught with his hand in the cooky jar. He was ILL! Gotta be more to this story. NCAA will be all over him and his methods.

They didn't just simulate a gameday experience with a fog machine. They held a mock press conference which they also video taped of players being asked questions by the "media" played by none other that Coach Wane Tiffins and Bebe Ojuron. No word on whether or not Bebe was wearing a shirt at the time. I'm really glad that arse clown did not come to LSU now.

I just read the link and although they turned themselves in they blamed others. We used the smog machine because other Universities are doing it. SO I guess they want to take down some others with them.
