No offense, but what does Bama need slot WRs for? Don't see one ever having any impact...like a 10 catch/150 yard year kind of guy in that offense.

I believe with the qb we have coming in and even to a lesser degree with McElroy we will be throwing the ball more but we need guys like Bell and Grant because unless Bowman and Maze step it up everyone will just focus on Jones and we only have him for 2 more yrs.

That's why i have no clue why a player the mold of Grant would even think about going to Bama. I cant think of one time when they're slot had a big season. Last year's slot receiver touched the ball 16 times in 14 games.
Bama's slot receiver needs to see a lot of action this year or i can see Grant easily changing his commitment.

Maybe you should do a careful study of LSU's offense when Davey and Mauck were the QB.
