Whatever dude! My step brother(senior) played on the team and it has been mentioned that no one bought into the system. Its a problem when there is no discepline within the system. I do know that politics plays a factor and thats why my kids will go to Denham, I prefer their politics.
Say what you want but i am 36 and my kids get pumped when I break out the party routine. If the baseball and football woudn't interfere I definately apply to the pimp nation. Going to the games is about having a good time and those guys bring it!! In my opinion a true fan will not question the passion of these fans no matter the age if you do it appears your just an old fart that wants to sit on his/her sagging balls/poonanee and complain.

My kids, 11 and 13, have gone the last three years. Every year they get players from OTHER schools to assist in the camp. The only player on the LSU roster I had seen was Chris Jackson, and he was there to sign autographs. My sons coaches have been from Southern and Northwestern. Yes they had fun but they got more out of the local camps, such as Central Private or Coach Soileau in Walker, then they did at LSU plus it was a lot cheaper. Coach PM just showed up for pics FWIW.
Not that I am for him but Porter's experience was not much better before coming here. Porter was at Arkansas St. then with Miles at OSU from 2002-2004 and he seemed to turn out pretty damn good, recruiting wise. I think it helps that he was a known name and played at one of the all time premier college programs plus the fact he was in the NFL for 10 years. I also am pretty sure he can/would relate pretty good with the young guys he would be recruiting ala Porter!
OK I'll give you Davey just because thats all he had but Mauck, come on dude you got to be jokin
If you think you are going to throw the ball more w/ Saban as coach you must be delusional.
