Not saying don't take him because he is "pretty good" and is a Louisiana guy with big Louisiana high school football connections, but I feel like there has been more recruiting hype around him than warranted.

I get people are saying this and I don't think he sucks. I want him at LSU. I just don't get why he's #1 on OSU or USC's board at MLB (and is that verified?).
I just feel like he's a downhill thumper, which is kind of disappearing these days. Maybe he'll be an elite college player, I've been wrong plenty before.

And that makes sense, I'm just giving an opinion, which I know will be a minority one. Message board meant for discussion. And again, I want the kid at LSU, I just don't get why he's being courted like a Perkins by OSU.

They are gonna come for you.
Kid clearly has loads of talent, but I haven't seen any film of him of him taking in a FB or OG and shedding the block and making a play. By design he has simply not been asked to do this in HS. He plays off the several yards off the LOS and just free roams untouched to the ball. This will not be the case in college.

OSU is high on him, but some of that may be the new DC liked him while at Okie St.
OSU is running less 3 LBer sets now, so I think they like Curtis as a guy who can run and make plays but also play the run. Not sure OSU will play a "MLB" often going forward

on 5/23/22 at 11:36 am to Captain CrownGuys you have only seen his highlight. He is a missle and that is what he wanted out there. His gamefilm shows him doing more than most high school LBs do. He covers WRs in man coverage at times, sheds blocks, runs in space better than anybody.
The college teams get to pick through EVERY play in his season.
Trust me he is the number guy on all those boards.
