In another thread Arkytiger23 described Cain & Davis building a relationship (this Sat).
That's corroboration to what they're saying about Davis NOT wanting to be "exclusive".
ETA: which means I [also] stand corrected. I thought they'd have to "sales pitch" Davis on the benefits of being in a tandem also. Still can't hurt, but appears unnecessary... or is that way at this time.

Maybe, he has changed his tune over time, that's what I was hoping for anyways. There's a lot of benefits to sharing the ball in college and your health is the main benefit. The next level is much different from HS ball and a long ways from it, everyone is just as big as you or bigger as I can attest from playing college ball. Anyways, I'm happy to hear he's come around to sharing the ball, I was just going by what I read a couple of months ago on him, but people on here as we all know by now can really overblow shite.

2018 class isn't looking great, but if O can have a good season next year (another 10 win season), 2019 class could be special. I just don't have faith yet in O's recruiting ability as a head coach.
