Honestly, who is his agent? This is CFB, there are no rules on who can be your agent. In the NFL, you have to be certified by the NFLPA to be an agent. Those guys know contract law and have to pass an exam administered by the NFLPA. So, unless he’s represented by a real agent, he very well could have signed something like that.

I don’t think he got any money for 2026 yet. So nothing to pay back. The liquidated damage clause covers a broken contract. We call it the buyout in football. And the big ten has NIL contracts only does not cover enrollment, scholarships etc. we need to get a copy just for fun.

He should have to do or pay whatever he agreed to do or pay in the contract if he terminated it early.
