As did Frank Wilson. What's your point?
One's a position coach & St. Aug alum and one's a $5 million a year head coach with no ties to St. Aug whatsoever. I wonder how many other major head coaches do this? Would be interesting to know.

Saban also recommended him for the Landry job.

A charter school in the most talent rich section of the city. The ability to have kids transfer in at any time and be immediately eligible. No real zones to adhere to. That could have been a gold mine.
Although, there would still be Karr and OP Walker to contend with under similar circumstances and advantages.

Thank God we won't have to read these threads for 20 more months.

Jesus Christ the man has not burned LSU yet give him a chance.

Crutchfield may not have bunred LSU yet, but there are good reasons to be concerned.
One (of several) of those reasons is that dungheap of an assistant coach, DeCarlos Holmes who Crutch saw fit to hire. He HAS already burned LSU (Does the name Toshiro Davis ring a bell?) after Holmes was charged criminally in Caddo Parish and moved to Texas, where he sent Davis.
Holmes has made no seccret of his animosity toward LSU after LSU failed to aggresivley pursue one of Holmes' players at Bastrop. Holmes poor judgment and ethics also cost Bastrop a state title b/c of improper recruiting.

Crutchfield better be a little more concerned about winning football games at St. Aug. He ain't playin' Crescent City and Ecole Classique anymore. His lack of discipline within his program that everyone has witnessed will not bode well when he faces the likes of Rummel. ...

That pretty much describes St Aug every year. No disapline, just ask JJ27 about the last few times West Monroe has played at St Aug.
