Ohiotiger, what kind of high school does Ware play for? Is it a traditional power in the top classification?

I hope Storm is still on board for LSU. Competition is a good thing.

deuce you can work on your speed, its called plyometrics and you can train those muscles you fool... and yes 4.6 and 4.71 is a big diff especially when you are going to have pads on. this dude is what 17 or 18? he can def improve his speed. doesnt matter the dude can play watch his damn film.

He plays in Div 1, which is the largest classification. Princeton High School is a large public school.

The team has 4 to 5 quality players and the rest are just average. Ware is the entire team.

They are in the same conference as Colerain (state power) & they regularly play Moeller.

Thanks. I've heard of Moeller, and they are supposed to be strong just about every year. It's good to see that he plays against the best.

from OSU fan on another board:

quote:

He was at Cincinnati Princeton H.S. last year who plays in arguablly the toughest H.S. football city in the U.S. He transferred to Cincinnati Colerain for this coming season and will be playing against and with the best of the best in Ohio this season. Teams like St. Xavier, Moeller, Elder, and Lakota West.

OSU fans on Rivals LOVE this guy...he was one of the first offered by OSU and the've only offered 46 players

Princeton is probably ranks between 8 & 12 in the city & Top 20 in the state.

Guys, check this out from the Cincinnati Nike Combine. Dude had a 37 1/2 inch vertical, and a higher Sparq that Jordan Hicks. He's a great athlete. He weighed in at 222lbs. LINK

i like how at the end they mention programs like cincinatti and duke are recruiting him but dont mention lsu (the school he committed to) as if LSU were not a top program.

He is a great baseball player expected to be picked in first 3 rounds of 2010 mlb draft.

I think you are confusing him with OF/LHP Marcus Davis. Ware is a very good baseball player but I don't think LSU will have to worry that much about the MLB draft for him.

BTW both him and Davis made the All-Greater Cincy Baseball team as Juniors. Davis (aan LSU baseball commit) was on the first team. LINK

Sorry but he has not tranferred to Colerain. Lots of talk but as of last week he is working with Princeton. If he does go to Colerain he will play running back & they will be the favorite to win state.

Did I say they didn't dipshit? Speed is NATURAL, can you knock a little off the time to with better technique? Sure. But when he gets the rock in his hands, with pads on, do you really think its going to matter to him? You can't improve speed that much, even with better technique. Its not like you can go from a 4.8, to running a 4.3 just because you have better technique. You're fast or you aren't.

Deuce...w/e your name is. Technique has an insane amount of effect on speed. You have no idea. If you are a sprinter/track person..you obviously suck at it. Ask any real sprinting/track athlete..they spend hours on end trying to perfect their speed. yes, you are right that speed comes natural. But guess what, affter a while, there is only so much you can do. People dont just keep on getting faster with time and age, they get faster with better technique and training.

Also, Baseball doenst require immense quad and hamstring training. Sprinting does. Even the slightest mistraining in strenghts of your respective feet muscles can slow you down by a good 0.05 secs and depending on the person...possibly more.

As a runner, i can believe him that if what he said is true and he didnt actually get the time to train, he could have read a 4.5x time.

I am not sure what this does for Stom, but I am glad to hear Ware is coming to LSU.

His films look great. Welcome Spencer. For those worried about his 40 time , look up Knowshon Moreno.
In fact some of his cuts remind me of Moreno. My favorite play in his clips was when the lineman had the sleeve of his jersey, another defender hits him and he pulls away from both of them and runs down the field with his stretched out sleeve flopping as he ran.

I hope we take him and Storm. No sense in betting on Lache to come and even if he does, having more RBs is still a good thing - keep the stables loaded. Add Hilliard next year and we can rotate power backs.

Makes me wonder...if we do get power backs like Storm & Hilliard, speed backs like Lache, and atheletes like Shep and Ware...option game anyone?
