Potential is there. Production and conditioning are not.

We would have to agree to take him in the next class. Not holding up to that agreement would damage the reputation of the LSU coaches, whereas it would have no effect on Alabama. The change in Rodney's classification only helps Bama in this situation.

So, you're hearing that bama might not take him then?

I'm hearing that Bama is not near as high on him as they once were. They would still take him, but he is not a priority to them any longer.

That makes sense, but I doubt they end up with 5 more prospects good enough to turn him away.

You also don't shut up about Jarvis Landry not being a good NFL receiver. You say enough stupid shite to have earned the reputation of a contrarian fool.

If he doesn't have the character to compete and work in S&C and practice then they should pass on him. But this is an evaluation the coaches have to make. We, on this board, don't have the real story on this, or at least, if the real story is on here it's buried in innuendo.

I agree. Says a lot that our coaching staff is still willing to take Rodney. They clearly want the kid badly.

Yeah. Especially with T0'oto'o starting to trend toward to Tennessee.

I'm also starting to wonder if Bama moves Lee over Sopsher on their priority list.

So if he’s not a top priority to bama, can we forget about a young flip? If they’re not high on ish, seems like they’d push the envelope with him now

I didn't even think of that. I think they take the DL over the S/LB though.

This! Simply look at Tyler Shelvin. 5 star cant miss gotta have, etc etc etc

It doesnt mean shite in the SEC if you arent a hard worker and self disciplined person.

I hope im wrong, but i see some bad red flags in his situation.

The brother thing is telling. Using your position as leverage to get your brother an offer, is a huge problem.

Its a personal life decision on where to play and spend your young adukt life..what are you saying and teaching your brother? He hasnt been offered before because he isnt good enough.

I think you're right. I just looked at their class and forgot how many OLB/Safeties they have.

Changing topics slightly, but, I'm not sure how Sopsher can look at their last several class and believe they are going to let him play DE. If he really wants to play end, LSU is his best opportunity. We're still bringing in 350+ nose tackles (Shelvin, Livingston, Ika). In Bama's last several classes, their NTs are in the 330 range.

I highly doubt it. Sop is still on their list of takes, but what I mean by "not a priority" is that they aren't doing anything extra special to get him. They've played there hand, and either he comes alone with no strings attached, or they move on. I don't see him having a spot for Lee no matter what happens with Sop.
