People cannot grasp that, as of today, we’re a giant question market next year. We pretty much don’t have an offensive line (outside of Moore) or WRs. You’re selling someone on pure hope and potential.

I would take $1 mil less per season to run a better offense with a FAR better offensive coach knowing that it would likely be a better investment in my NFL future. But that’s just me. Not everyone takes the long view.

Good point on long vs. short view.
