Ishmael Sopsher comes in as the No. 1 defensive tackle in the country, and after not taking too many reps on days one and two, he was more active Tuesday, but he did not have a lot of success. He struggled to get off blocks. He has to work on his hands and moves off the ball.

He’s raw we’ve known that since day 1. He’s as highly ranked as he is because of his physical gifts.

Dude couldnt perform the first 2 days other than shell stuff because all the helmets were too small. Had to have one shipped in overnight. Sometimes things just have a way of trying to tell you something.

Honestly, if he lived anywhere but Amite I don’t think the desire to land him would be anywhere near what it is today.

He’s the #1 DT in the country, it doesn’t matter where he’s from

He wont be too 4 or 5 when the final rankings come out. Only way he is would be if they dont place future DTs as DTs. Walker, Pickering, Charles Moore, Alfano. Thats 4 if they place them all as DTs which they are.(site listings are 4-3 based)

Not saying i dont want him but he isnt making his case to those questioning him.

Lol what?

It told me that Ishmael Sospher (Who is 6’5” 340lbs) has a big arse head and they didn’t have a helmet that fit.

What did you read into it?

Dumb.

Kid could live in West Monroe, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Shreveport, Lafayette or Kansas City.

I want the #1 Defensive tackle in the country no matter what. Hell even if he’s just a top 20 DT. We need big uglies.

They said Kardell struggle with the speed of the game in his first day of practice at the all star game, you still want him?

Don’t read too much info 1 practice.

Doesn’t mean dick what dudes on an internet site are questioning.

I’ve criticized O over the past 2 years for quite a few things but I will never question Ed Orgerons ability to identify and coach defensive line talent.

He thinks he’s worth 2 scholarships. That’s all I need to know.

Honestly don't want him especially if we have to burn another scholarship on his brother who probably won't play. Rather leave some spots open to load up in 2020

We need elite DE now, not in 2020. Sopsher is elite

He’s ranked at that, but he wants to play DE.

A DE in a three man front plays more like a DT than a DE in a four man front. He’s going to be asked to squeeze and close gaps more than attack the edge.

I’ll take a big fat guy to plug holes for now. If he works hard and develops to potential dude could be Albert Haynesworth good. If not, he’s still a big fat guy plugging holes
