He’s usually on the cautious and conservative side.
D. Lee update LINK /
He’s now classified as an athlete on 247 and already was on Rivals. Didn’t check ESPN yet.

I hope so. He's a good one. Let it be so- and let him help us with Sopsher. How awesome that would be....This is going to be a great class. Brings back good memories.

If we could get him and Palmer committed early that would be huge for landing Sophser. Get those Tangi kids in LSU’s corner.

If we go into this season with just about all the in state kids we want already verbaled to LSU that will be massive. The pitch to stay home and win a title to Sophser with them all committed will hold much more weight if they’re all already in our corner and not looking around

It’s looking like all this could very well happen too

Lee is like a Devin White type. Get him on campus and figure it out then. I think he'll be a safety or could move into that Corey Thompson LB-esque role

Too soon to call, but I like our chances. Especially with both his podnuhs in his ear to stay home with them.

So basically if we get 1 out of the 3 we get all 3?

It's not a definite package deal with Sopsher. Palmer and Lee have said they want to play together before. But having 2 of Sopsher's close friends in the class definitely ain't going to hurt the situation to land him.

One of Bama's "insiders" on 247 said Sopsher isn't as high on Bama's board as most think.

Interesting.

Edit: They are now saying Lee isn't a take

I actually like the idea of putting him into that Corey T role. With guys like Harrris, Smith, and Brooks we could play the run while also keeping them out there in passing situations and be very dangerous verses the pass in short and medium range.

With the corners and safeties we have this defense could be so versatile. The packages Aranda could come up with are unlimited. Then we would also have those big thumpers in the middle at LB. Add Sopsher, Shelvin, Livingston, Hines, Rosenthal, Ferrell, all those big boys on the DL putting pressure and our TO rate would have to go up.

What I really like about putting guys like Brooks, Smith and Harris out there is their field awareness. Some players are just extremly aware of their surroundings and some are only concerned with what's in front of them. That's what made T. Mathieu so great was his awareness. Saban loves these kinds of players and made his defense's as good as they were. Plus they have hands to play offense so put that on defense and boom TO city.

Of course they would. That's actually a better sign than the crystal balls to me.
