i wasn't even aware of this? you talking about grades or is this kid pretty thuggish?

did the slant he took to the house come from a db falling down or something?
no, just cut it up field in between the safety and corner. myles was the safety in coverage fwiw. not only did he take a bad angle to the ball, he got burned pretty badly in pursuit. What do you think of myles lynx? I wasn't impressed with him at all to be honest. with loston and hatcher from last year I just don't see him ever starting at LSU, but maybe he was just rusty or out of shape.

just one guys opinion but we have nothing else to go on expect these opinions. did the slant he took to the house come from a db falling down or something?
Isn't this because he was ESPN's top receiver? He played well in the game, which is what really matters anyways.

I think almost ALL defensive players have to learn to adjust their angles from high to college. You play 3 years and have great success and running down average high school players and then you get in an All Star game or college and you see that almost none of your old angles will work any more. Everyone is faster so you just have to adjust. I see that as a minor issue that most defensive players will have to adjust to.

Why do we put more emphasis on rivals as opposed to scout...Doesnt scout have Ford at 5*? Im fairly new to recruiting as I kept up with it a little last year, but never quite understood this? Thanks for the help in advance

scout is usually more accurate with evaluating Louisiana talent. i guess more people are familiar with rivals so its used in discussion more, but I look at both about the same amount fwiw

Marlon Brown didn't really impress me.
On that slant Prince Kent(I think) over played the deep route and Myles totally blew the coverage then took a horrible angle to chase Brown down.
He had another good catch on the sideline, but he also looked really sluggish at times.

Lynx
This (120's) surprised me. Are you not as impressed with him after the game as some others are?

dreaux when does this thing come out playa?

Why would D. Kennard stay at 6, but CD drop to 48? Kennard blew out his knee before (or early in) his senior year.

I do not see Josh Downs jumping from a low 4 star (on rivals as a DT) and a 3 star on scout (as an OG) making the jump to #65 in the country from his performance.
Yes he destroyed the competition, but you are saying that he will basically jump at least 200+ spots to get to #65.
I think he will make a drastic jump in the rankings -- which moving into the 120s would still be -- but I don't think he makes it into the top 100.

Kennard is a freak -- he deserves to be ranked there.

Myles is a VERY good player. I would not judge his play based off that one play. That was the first play of the game and I think he got caught off guard .
I would take Myles in a heartbeat.

Potentially could be...

I think Myles is about as talented as Loston in some of the things they can do. But he certainly isn't as physically developed as Loston. I mean Myles could be a future NFL star as could Loston, but there's no way I think he could step on anybody's campus and be and start early on. But after a year or 2 on campus...look out. While Loston is physically ready to contribute immediately, though you typically don't want to have a freshman starting at safety.

What a joke! We know UA isn't getting Loston so the next best thing is to claim that Myles is "about as talented" because you think UA might get him (which UA probably won't). Loston is in the same mold as Berry at UT...but bigger. I can't wait to see him lay the wood on some Tide RB's and WR's next year. Get a life!
