why would Jennings first start push anyone away?

LSU has several talented QBs on board and Coach Cam can coach them up. He's tremendous.

Plus a&m's guys no matter how talented are still unproven.

so after mett's first season starting as junior were you on here saying LSU's qb situation sure doesn't look too good.. considering how mediocre the offense was the year was? and then bam.. Cam comes in and the entire offense excels..

If you were to take a vote on which of this year's recruits seemed to enjoy playing games with the recruiting process, i think Speedy would win going away. I think he signs with LSU regardless of what happens today. Just my humble opinion.

I honestly cant think of a lot of good reasons to commit to aTm. JFF gone. Offense will be below average without him. Defense is a joke and wont be fixed. Team will struglle to be .500 next year. Enjoy.

Someone who thinks Speedy to ATM...give me a LEGITIMATE reason He watched our QB play in the Outback Bowl and said WTF........ Maybe he sees LSU as underutilizing kids with his skills. Not like we run an open passing offense. We will always be run oriented and that is great when we have studs at RB and a good OL

This was a legitimate criticism before this year when we had a 3,000 yard passer and two 1,000 yard receivers and an NFL offensive coordinator.

I think that some people just don't watch LSU games or something. AJ had a bad game, but it doesn't mean that he will have a bad season next year. Do you know how well Johnny Manziel did as a true freshman? He didn't play. He redshirted.

If I was speedy I would go to A&M too, his style would be utilized better in the spread.

If he has a first round talent it doesn't matter where he goes he will be drafted in the first round, but if he doesn't pan out to his full potential. A&M would be ideal for him to still get playing time.

Here's a few reasons...

Dural
Diarse
Leslie
Johnson
Smith (Desean)
I'm sure I missed a couple more

incoming...
Washington
Dupre
Quinn

Assuming Beckam and Landry go pro, that's still a lot of pass catchers to overcome.

If he chooses A&m, it is not the end of teh world! We want recruits that want to wear purple & gold! There is no sense of loyalty anymore with homegrown kids! Matter of fact, it is the opposite of loyal!

well aTm signed EIGHT WRs last class. Including Seals Jones who was a 5 star and he had less than 100 yards this year.

IMO, our depth chart is far better than aTms.

He played exactly one game during which he suffered a season-ending knee injury.

RE: Mike Evans...

Does anyone else think this guy is a punk? His antics are tough to stomach. I remember his punk face when a freshman held him in check. It's like he thinks he has already arrived and everyone should let him catch TDs. He looks entitled.

What's the difference here? AJ enrolled in the spring and experienced both spring and fall practices. In addition, I'm more than sure AJ got enough reps in the fall to produce a better game than that. If JM enrolled in the fall and went through spring practices, where would the difference fall? Yeah I understand it was AJ's first start, but IMO recruits (receivers) want to know what kind of experience is on the roster at QB.
I sure hope the QB competition is open in the spring. Ready to see what Hayden Rettig can do.

Why do Aggies need validation from LSU fans about their offense?

and you won't get it for your team here. 3rd in the division is the pinnacle.

or is taking 1 WR from LA that important to you?

and you're right, be extra polite because you will get banned if you say the same things about LSU here that you do on the rant.

To balance that comment back out, they use 4-5 WR per set and we use 2-3

Rettig has had the same amount of time here as AJ? If he were that much better wouldn't he have been the 2nd string instead of Jennings? Some of you people need to get real and use rational thought. The kid is a true freshman, and yes, although an EE, he was getting 2nd/3rd string reps.

I think he doesn't like our offense, and likes their offense.

Regardless of the stats, pro-style offense, whatever, I just think he likes that offense more.

The two bowl games certainly didn't help our cause at all, regardless of who is going pro.

Well the truth of the matter is A&M doesn't have a very good Defense and has to pass the ball around like Taco Tech and the like do. Nice stats, Zero Hardware... Was playing Duke any fun? any pats on the back for beating them in heroic last minute fashion?

Sumlin has not won any championships and struggled against Duke, a basketball school...JFF and Evans are the only players I know from A$M...and they are both gone, now what do we have?

LSU was won 3 in a row over A$M.

If Speedy wants to get the ball a lot and win nothing, then he should go to A$M...

If he wants to play/win championships more than he wants to touch the ball, then LSU is the choice.

We don't need me me type players if that is indeed the case.

I want Speedy bad as he is elite talent.. but LSU is an elite program with elite coaching staff, while A$M under Sumlin is still in further review..

Say what you want about the Hat, but winning 81% of your games in the toughest division in all of college football over a 9 year period is impressive

Who can claim these results? Sumlin couldn't do it over a 2 year period with arguably the most dynamic QB in CFB...

Play calling even though call has done a great job it still seems les had his say in the offense and kids like speedy need to be featured and have there touches. Personally I don't blame him if he went to aTm because of this but lsu would be fine.
