Best football related thread in a long while.

Questions and Opinions
a) This is really a new era in CFB. The last change this big that I can recall would've been the scholarship limits imposed in the early 70s.

b) How does NIL $$$ compare to NFL $$$? LSU can market itself in getting players to the next level on a fast track. This may not be CBK's comfort zone but he gonna have to adapt.

c) I would concentrate my NIL resources on my natural recruiting footprint, i.e., LA and TX.

d) When was the last time a team won a natty with marginal talent? Auburn with Cam in 2010? I think every other team in the last 20 years has been at the vanguard of talent. CBK has to keep pace in recruiting.

e) Is the concept of red-shirting and developing for 2 years and then getting on the field for the last two years a gone forever concept at LSU?

how these resources are used as Texas, OU and potentially Florida State enter the conference.

First off, HELL NO.
Second, where did you hear this.
Third, who would be the second team that bundles with?

What’s your take then? If you can muster one through your grief and tears of losing a game.

I mean, sure, we're the "leader" now. But how many times do y'all have to get your hopes up about a big national recruit outside of our footprint only to get clowned on on signing day for y'all to stop listening taking what these recruiting "experts" say as gospel?

BK just needs to get with the program and start landing the kids we need, meaning if we really starving for DT’s then land the DT at all cost
Let the Wr slip away, just have to be smart about it

You realize the other night with 2 mon left in the 3rd it was tied. That was a winnable game the blame goes on drops and JD not finishing the game like he should. Not trying to bash him but we have no running game when we have no deep threat.

Bruh

LSU got raked across the coals in that game. In football games they can stay close it's the second half that separates the men from the boys as the athleticism and physicality will outclass inferior teams. LSU was vastly inferior to FSU. Their point of attack and physicality in that game was far more impressive. They're a top 5 talented team in the country that made a pretty talented LSU team on paper look like they never conditioned due to how physical they were with us. LSU looked soft in comparison.

The days of loving a school are just about gone.

This is just like the NFL. Go get a QB, pass rusher, stud CB, stud OL. Fill in from there.

Soft and not coached well.

That's a problem when Kelly's calling card is discipline and repetition.

Maybe some of the things we heard about Kelly are true.

I don't think you are a bad fan if you might be questioning that.

Some people are here flame you if you don't defend anything s coach does.

A few of us have been worried about this recruiting class for awhile.
