BS. I've said all along ZM>JL>JJ. Divisiveness in the locker room affects all parts of the team, regardless of where someone plays. And there's more than a little smoke in that regard.

LSU will be an elite program and a NC contender for the next 4 years at least. we have plenty of talent and this years class is full of low ranked potential. people think we lost the top three instate players - THATS INSANE OR IGNORANCE.

consider the last 4 years and the no.1 players in la. has not proved to be the no. 1 player (so far) in any of the three years. thus no. way we lost the TOP 3.

1. 2011-top ranked collins, top performer beckham
2. 2010-top ranked t.reed, top performer TM7
3. 2009-top ranked randle, top performer claiborne
4. 2008-top ranked tolliver, top perf. taylor

stop worrying, PLENTY of talent on signed today.

Reality is Chavis, Brick, Cooper and of course, Moffitt have bailed Miles out of the hot seat over the last 2 years.

Without that crew, he might be unemployed. Miles owes his D and conditioning coaches at least half of his paycheck.

His inept game prepartion, coaching and refusal to do everything possible to win the BCSNC game is having negative impact. And it really does not matter, the guy is here for the next 7 years unless he dumps a couple of losing seasons in a row, which is not going to happen anytime soon.

Decent class but not great. Support the new Tigers. You never know how they will develop.

Yeah it's miles fault the top guys don't wanna come here!! Has nothing 2 do with playing for a bunch of boo birds. Truth is the family environment LES has been selling in down the drain. Recruits prolly thinking damn if we lose 1 game at lsu it's the end of the world so what would happen if we lose 2! How about 5 games!!!! The negative fan base will eventually turn the team negative 2.

To make this clear to you who suck at the internet Texas was 5-7 in 2010, and was 8-5 this year including the bowl win over California.

Davis wants to take the easy way to get on the field. Why else would you go to Texas over LSU?

No offense really I guess but if Shreveport decided to secede from La. and join TX I'm not sure the rest of La. would really care. I lived there 4 yrs and I'd say a lot of the people are bandwagon Saints and LSU fans when the mood suits them ... BIG Dallas Cowboy town.

a primary reason for shreveport having a large dallas cowboy contingent is historical - the cowboys were the primary NFL team on TV there for years - do we have to have this bullshite posted every other week.

sherevport is as much an LSU town as new orleans is... and they certainly are not an A&M or UT town

Texas has been to 4 BCS bowls in the last 7 years including 2 NC games. 3-1 record. Not to mention the streak of 10-win seasons throughout the 00's. OMG things are so awful in Austin!!

Some of you are short-sighted. Texas' 2-season demise is *over*.

People see and hear what they want to see and hear. Texas is full of kids with high Rivals and Scout rankings who have completely failed to live up to their hype.

One big problem was not recruiting a legit RB since Jamaal Charles.

Here are the following guys that they let get away in the 2008 recruiting class:

LaMichael James
Knile Davis

No excuse for that IMO.

Over? What have you done lately to say "its over". You are still in that demise. LSU won as many games in 1 year as Texas did in 2 years combined.

frick YOU - Everybody in the country knows he sucked and that his D coaches bailed him out the last 2 years.

All you guys that Blow Miles - ask yourself if his former college program would even take him back over their current coach .....
Well at least I'm not this negative. LOL

And their history of winning conf championships over the past 20 years is about to...uh, yeah...forgot.

I actually love MB. Seems like a good man who won a lot of games in his time. But to say that UT is back on track is wishful thinking. I guess the one positive over the past 2 years is that the Big 12 got a little easier to win but all roads still go through Norman.

So the divisiveness led us to a 13-1 record, SEC championship and appearance in the National Championship? In that case I hope players start sleeping with other players girlfriends and we'll win the Superbowl next year.

Interesting trend. All the charter members of TeamSwag blasting anyone suggesting that the LM/JJ Brokeback Bayou final episode on January 9 might have at least a little to do with the recruits bailing. Direct correlation. Don't even need a spreadsheet for this one.

This is both true and hilarious. The perception of the team attitude seems to range from "unhappy" to poisonous. I think Rivals has us at 17 right now not that that is the best metric.
Our team was embarrassed in it's biggest game under the biggest spotlight. The team that wins those type of games tend to steal a guy or 2. The loser usually doesn't fall off a cliff like this. We may have some quality players but the depth of this class is very weak by LSU standards and anyone saying otherwise should be making hatchet job mockumentaries with Michael Moore.

miles doesn't suck. he is a very good coach. he made a CALCULATED decision that jj was the best of a bad situation at qb. decision can now be questioned big time. we lost ONE game and no one on this board can say they have confidence we would have won with jl at qb. should he have played YES. would we have won PROBABLY NO.
