I had a hunch she was leaving but not actual confirmation so I did not want to say anything. I knew when ALlie and Carley would pass up baylee and kelsey. I discussed it with a recuiter. there is not much room or reps after your top two stars. Many do not want to wait until they are senior to get plenty reps. 1. Athletic pitcher.
2. Center fielder with range and base speed.
3. First base is slow with little range.
Overall softball savvy is missing. Too many incorrect throws from the outfield.
Would you like more?

Your list is in no way reflective or a problem for any of our issues,

We don't have a pitching problem
Griggs has a big arm and is in no way slow but not the fastest ever. She's not an issue at all.
1B? What the hell is wrong with Doyle? What are you talking about?
The only concern in the OF is Andrews arm but she will get better.
Jaquish was a good catcher. Her pitchers at times got wild.
If there's anything we need it's more power hitters, other than my critique we really are fine.

Hoover and Gorsuch are both athletic. Doyle at first is naturally a shortstop. Griggs judges fly balls well and has a cannon for an arm. She does need to lose weight. But our problem is lack of hitting more than anything else.

Yup, what's funny is the experts on the rant are freaking out and taking it in such a bad way like everyone hates Torina
It will always happen, you recruit players to major schools, not everyone will want to wait 3 years until major playing time so good for them. You only get to play college softball once. LSU will be fine, we just reload

You do not have a pitcher that can field the position. It's a real problem when an opponent elects to bunt.
The outfield elects to show off those "arms" and allow for runners to advance. A problem.
Little to no range at 1st.
They may all be nice and represent LSU ok. Just not about to take the next step without change.

I appreciate your interest in wanting us to improve on things but have you watched a game at all the last few years?
None of the points you listed are an issue for us at all. Hoover and Walljasper field balls extremely well. What's funny is pitchers like Barnhill are struggling to field bunts and stuff

our issues are improving hitting which we have discussed ad nauseum and cutting down infielder errors.
The last poster that complained about talent was bayou bum....let that sink in.

I beg to differ. Carley is just fine fielding her position. She was hurt the majority of the year.

An alter came into the thread, called Gorsuch as a person "trash" then said Beth belittle her players down to hurt them and take their confidence away. Apparently Dawson and Cunningham are staying, Satchell might leave or something

Well, Syd is leaving. That honestly surprises me. After this year, she would have been #1 unless she thought she was not going to get playing time she thought or something. There's apparently something going on though. I've heard from too many people now about discord, etc and it needing to be fixed asap. I sure hope so because we have the right tools. Hitting just needs to be fixed and cut down on a few errors, support each other and we will be fine. But I am getting worried. We have 2 stud pitchers and may not have these shots for a few years.
