You know Jimmy is or was associated with the Bootleggers, right? He is always tweeting about them. He has contacts with La high school football players/coaches besides being the Rivals site owner for LSU. He has even begun producing commit videos for the kids.
I'll pay attention to his information before some of the posters on this board who are nothing but trolls.

We need 1 more DL. Would love to take 2. You know who.
We need 2/3 OL. 3 if we can get 2 tackles.
We need an RB.
We need a safety.
We would take a TE if he’s great.
We expect the normal attrition that occurs.
If a WR decommits another will take his spot.
Does that sound about right? The OL is where the heartburn is. This is where we truly need Great news. I hope that these guys understand the great roster opportunity that is there for them.

I would hope so since it's his full time job. On the other hand he doesn't appear to be any more accurate than his competitors. Plus, he's too whiney and self important.

Yep. I was heavily involved this past recruiting cycle due to knowing John Emery's family and another prospect (that was on the Bootleggers team) pretty well and Jimmy is very well connected.

I like Jimmy. I think he took people here too serious. I also think he’s learned a lesson from that and that can only help him in the future.
Those bitching about him only trying to make a buck don’t understand what he does is a job and no one wants to work for free.

Yes, but I believe he would be around recruits (Bootleggers - used to and may still have players from Texas) even if he wasn't presently involved with a recruiting service.

LSU may be the only college team with two recruiting sites with such well connected sources. Details with the Bootleggers and Shea being married to the "Coordinator of LSU football Offensive Operations | LSUSports.net reporter | Part of the LSU Gameday Live crew on Cox Sports TV.
Not that LSU fans get better insider information but they do have two pay services that are run by people with great contacts.

Man, you damn sure got this part right. I like to read his twitter at times and always think "Sometimes you should shut up dude". He berates other reporters, gets after players (with good information but presents it in a bad way) and just posts weird off the wall shite that leave me thinking WTF? was that.
