Miles now has a problem with not recruiting good DTs

You can put a lot of blame for this on Karl Dubar, who left in 2006.

I think you'll agree with me when I say that depth is very important

well none of our backup OL have really played much

we're thin on the DL because of a few things

not offering the right kids (frank alexander)

trying to move corley inside and his mother being killed

moving 2-3 DTs to the OL (blackwell mainly)

Yeah it's shittie but we knew those Saban players wouldn't last forever.
Now he has to do it with his. Maybe it will work out fine.

it's not wrong (i guess, who knows if he's better at DT b/c none of us will see him there)

but the point is, we don't have that depth on the DL b/c we've moved a bunch of guys over, had some misses, and some attrition

The only ones that see him are the coaches. The moves by Stewart, Barksdale, Hitt...those are just as of the past few years have done well. Nate Livings was said to be as good or better at DT. He too was on the OL and is still playing/starting in the Pro's. Blackwell as seen by many would have done better on the OL. Most know the reason why he was on the DL at WM.

no you can't. I realize you hate Dunbar, because every post you make on the recruiting board is some kind of dig at him, but the last class he was in charge of recruiting are seniors now. RJF went pro and Al Woods is still here, the only miss that year was Charles Deas. Every other D-Lineman miss falls under Earl Lane. Stop trying to shovel shite in Dunbar's direction when he isn't the one who caused the problem. He may actually help the problem since his 6'3" 285 lb, Sophomore in high school son may want to come here in a few years.

Stlsport-

Very clever! I've never seen that on a message board before!

Seriously though, have you graduated high school yet?

Not to defend Stlsport but you did make a illogical remark about Miles' abilities which is not based on what he has actually achieved ( I go only by Wins and what he has achieved for us instead of perception and over-analysis of each game) and instead seems like mere parroting of the anti-Miles propaganda.

Can you show me any link/audio clip/article by an ex player/coach/administrative member which substantiates your claims about Miles.

Yeah, DL and OL needs to be the priority pretty much every year IMO. Skill/speed guys are a dime a dozen.

Miles needs to have more faith in his staff and not try to pick all the recruits himself. He can't coach all positions himself.
