I think we get him in the end, but make no mistake about it, this will be a dogfight and Auburn is very much in the running.

I would just wait and see on this kid. He was offered first by Texas A&M and they were his favorite for a few months and then Florida offered and they were his leader, then LSU offered and he put them at a co #1 with Fla and now Auburn is #1. In all my years of playing and coaching, these kinds of kids scare me the most. He did not play much last year as he was behing 4 guys that all signed D-1 scholarships, he transfered to St Thomas from Ft Lauderdale Boyd anderson because he was not getting playing time there and did not think he could compete at Boyd his JR and SR year ( Boyd puts out a ton of D-1 kids every year, this year already Shawn Ward LB commttedto Texas A&M, Kent Turene has offers from everyone and is committed to USC along with many others). Now I am not saying the kid will not turn out to be good, but it is a gamble. Right now he has not proven anything on the field of play and a lot of the attention he is getting comes from some camps and the fact that St Thomas coaches have marketed him well, something they do great every year and put tons of kids in D-1. When a kid is a camp warrior that has not performed on the field, I am always a little nervous on him.

We're talking about Greg Robinson of Thibodaux, who you talking about?

Did he not watch the game against AU last year? I hope that we beat them even worse this year at their home field! Maybe that will slap some sense into him. If he goes to AU, we can beat them four more years in a row. That would be classic

Don't have any inside info on Robinson's recruitment, but I dont think LSU has to worry about GR.

Every single article I've read he usually mentions his family and the ability to play close to home. So obviously he has a close knit family.

The closer NSD approaches, the more he's going to face the reality of leaving his family far behind if he chooses AU.

JMO though

Normally I would agree with you but the latest article(s) from rivals and scout both paint a little different picture. Family is the wild card as he didn't really discuss how they felt about Aubbie.

If we finished this class with GR, MJ, Beckham, Ely, and 2 more DBs I would be a happy man.

Our offense was the ONLY thing last year we had that was good. But it was really, really good. Not sure what that dude is talking about.

Unless he is basing his opinion off of the monstrosity that was the LSU game, in which case yes, the offense sucked.

Auburn did have a pretty good offense last year and will this year as well. The style of defense and scheme LSU has is just a tough matchup for teams that run the style Auburn has, so that game isn't a great overall indicator

I know you are a fricking moron if you think Auburn's offense was worse than LSU's 112th ranked. LSU took Auburn to the woodshed, or defense sucked and your defense had Chris Todd rattled. Our defense was the worst it has ever been in Auburn's history. But if you think thats how our offense performed every Saturday then you are sadly mistaken, the same goes for those LSU fans that think this years game will be anything like last years beat down.

I actually think it may be quite similar, not a flame on you, but our offense will be much better and our defense and scheme are not a good match for the style of offense Auburn runs. That being said, I expect Auburn to have a better overalll year than last year unless the injury bug bites them again

I hear what you are saying but we will be playing at home, with an improved team on every side of the ball. LSU man handled us last year and there is just no way we lose by more than 14 pts in Jordan Hare. I expect this years game to be similar to the stretch of 2004-2009.
