What has UT done that has everyone in such an uproar?..Secondary Violations..How many did St. Mark have at UGA last year?..Give it a rest guys..UT hasn't done anything illegal. Give it a break.

Telling recruits not to de-commit until NSD so the original school doesn't know they need to recruit a different conerback is just slimey.

This muzzling of the junior college quarterback reeks of something underhanded too.

Every team in the conference will want to beat your team to a pulp because of Kiffin.

do we really know this is how it went down? I'm not talking about what we are assuming, but what exactly do we know as fact?

it definitely happened with Nu'Keese Richardson, there is wide speculation that the same thing happened with Janzen Jackson to both screw LSU and to ensure that Darren Myles signed with Tenn.

And LSU has never went in at the "LAST MOMENT" and have a kid sign with them..It happens all the time. Get it a rest. But if you are gonna beat UT you better do it this year. He has a staff that can recruit and CAN COACH..Give it time..Enough Good players and as you see even LES "BIG HEAD" Miles can't even screw that up.. Chavis, maybe..

What Lane did last year with Nu'Keese and Janzen was pretty unprecedented.

Perriloux switched from Texas to LSU on NSD, but it was widely known in the preceding weeks that he was going to do that.

Wasn't it pretty well known that Janzen was considering Tennessee? I mean, the day of his announcement I expected him to announce Tennessee. Kiffin even alluded to it in an interview with ESPN so it wasn't really a scocker was it?

Hell to the neaux!
Janzen didn't announce his decision until the Thursday after NSD.
quote:

Guidry said he informed LSU Coach Les Miles of his son’s decision via telephone prior to the press conference.

And here's scoop on him not letting LSU know sooner:
quote:

Jackson, who had publicly maintained his LSU commitment until Thursday, said he informed Tennessee coaches of his final decision Tuesday night after having indicated to them during his official visit three weeks ago that UT was where he wanted to play.

and its not like he didn't have a chance to tell the LSU coaches he had changed his mind:
quote:

He made an official visit to Tennessee on the weekend of Jan. 9 before making subsequent visits to LSU (Jan. 23) and Alabama (Jan. 30).

good luck with this cast of shady characters

i agree. kiffin's immaturity has come through with his mouth overloading his arse, BUT, he may end up being pretty good. i lived in nashville for 10 yrs. and i like UT. ya'll have a great fan base just like we do. he's had a rough start, pissing off the better coaches in the league, but UT will attract great talent and ya'lls tradition will live on. i think having a good UT team makes the SEC better. having said that, i can't wait for LSU to beat ya'lls arse next year.
