Boo has a visit set up to Wisconsin in April. A Wisconsin Asst grew up with his Dad and vowed to fight hard to get him.

With you GA but we need someone with the explosiveness that Palelei has in the '14 class. My fix, take all 3. Think we'll likely take a shot at one of the quick, shifty OOS kids 1st but it may be quicker and safer to just take Palelei if he isn't set on one of the Utah schools. We just need a different style of back to put with our power guys. Why I hope Brazil plays RB.

As usual lsufanva dissects what others don't really see. In a RB (or most skill positions imo) the start-stop and change-of-direction abilities are more important than straight-out speed. You see it all the time in football and basketball. The super agile guys always excel...

Very good comparison. ^^^ Boo is probably faster, but yeah, very similar backs.

I didn't come away from these highlights blown away. Solid D1 back but I don't see him as a we-have-got-to-have-this-player style of recruit.

With LSU's current status, I don't think ANY one player is a We got to have type player.

So if we don't get LF, we should shut the Program down?

Nobody's saying that. LF is one of those players that doesn't come around very often. He's a freak of nature. That's the best way I can put it.

don't sell Palelei short (NPI). He looks like a pretty tough fast shifty RB. LSU needs to take a hard look at him.

I just check into this thread from time to time to be on record that I hope LSU gives this guy an offer sooner rather than later.

I'll be back in five pages or so.

Still, he goes down too easy because he's a shrimp.

Really?

I saw him go down only when getting hit immediately after making the first defender miss. He was constantly juking, making people grab air, and when they did grab him, it looked they they were grabbing teflon. Plus, he is not afraid of contact. JMO.

I guess i'll have to watch his vid longer than 2 minutes to see what yall see. Nothing he does pops out at me. Looks to be decent enough though. I want Thomas!

Still he's a shrimp
A shrimp that benches over 300lbs, squats 595 and did 36 reps in the bench press of 155lbs at the NUC Combine after his Sophomore year.
Pretty fast and elusive, too, I might add.
Not sure 5'10 196 is shrimp-like.

Nah, a teammate of my two sons and a Friend of his Dad. But I also Coached over 20 years and many of my kids played College and Professional Ball. Kid's as good looking a football player as the ones I've coached.
