Similar story about Dre Kirkpatrick that Bit the TIDE....

A big recruit the tide thought they had acted as if he were going to put on a Hounds Tooth Hat but instead threw it in the garbage.Forgot the recruit but he either went to Tenn or OLE PISS..SO WHAT comes around goes around...A big tide Fan told me the story but I was half listening because I did not care

im pretty sure he was talking about bobbie massie who signed with ole miss. He was the top prep player in the country and all the gumps swore he was a bama lock.

That wasn't Dre Kirkpatrick. Now, Tennessee did steal a big recruit from Florida in NuKeese Richardson, but Bama did have a couple of good commits stolen by Ole Miss and Miss State.
If I remember correctly, though, DK was the complete moron that put on an Atlanta Braves hat, thinking that it was a Bama hat just because it had an "A" on it.

It was a black Alabama hat...
The person in question, however, was Bobby Massie. He picked up the Alabama hat and threw it across the room.

That was Massie but there was illegal recruiting going on by ole miss for sure. 25K from a car delership landed Massie at Ole miss.
