At some point you just have to pony up the money for some of these higher end transfers. Kelly said he wouldn’t pay and we see where we are this year.

It's more realistic to get 1 Top notch DT to pair with Guillory as starters with Mckinley and Breaux first off the bench, they should both take huge steps forward after alot of PT as TFR and an offseason with Bo. Suggs, Shone Washington and Zion Williams would be in the next tier, that would give us 7 which would be huge. At DE we would need at least 1 starter level, 7 sack guy to team with Womack and Reliford and maybe 1 more rotational guy. Hopefully CJ Jackson at 6-4 250 after RS'ing this year will be ready to give us good reps. The Freshman are very athletic but undersized and may need to RS. Stewart is the X factor. We probably need a LB with starting experience but have good young talent with Atkins, Singleton and Ross adding alot of speed and athleticism. I'd be happy with Pickett and Phillips as starters with Woodland,Stamps and Anding as 3rd, 4th & 5th up and Causey, Foster and Turner giving depth. TWO STARTING SAFETIES, BIGGEST NEED BY FAR

It's going to look different every year. There are so many variables that you can't predict what it's going to look like. Get everything done through recruiting and development, then backfill holes. Don't put yourself in position where you have to go out and get multiple mercenaries.

Toviano and Singleton have to play and prove themselves. They aren't going anywhere, so need to develop two very high rated recruits out of high school. Adding big true fr too who's 6'3 210 already. So that's 3 just competing for the star position. Spears, Jackson, and 2 other true fr. That's 7 in safety room. Maybe room for 1 stud add at ss or fr. But the others have to develop and take the other 2 spots.

Whoever they target in the portal they need to be players that they are sure will come in and start. We took to many transfers last go around that have had zero impact.
