That's a very good but disturbing article. You have to feel for the kids. What if you went through college for a degree that only a certain amount of companies have a need for. A few offer, you finally accept one, and then the Friday before you're supposed to start employment and they pull the offer. It would totally suck and be very detrimental to your future, at least in the short term.

Couldn’t the NCAA put a cap on how many offers a school puts out or do they not have enough teeth to do such a thing?

I know it seems like every 4/5* kid in the country has an offer from bama any given year.

Interesting article, but I'm calling BS on the math. If you compare the offers by year starting in 2014 through 2019, Bama had 315 more offers than we did. Of course, I'm basing this on the numbers available without paid access, so they might be listed differently for subscribers.
