So he doesn't like LSU and he is telling everyone. I give no fricks about him or what he thinks of LSU. If you don't like LSU go somewhere else.

To paraphrase Eddie Murphy/Richard Prior:

I think his handler has a lot of influence on him. LSU should have barred his handler from showing up on campus in the first place.

Recruits today have a lot to learn about life.
Carter is the one who initially committed elsewhere a long time ago thereby eliminating LSU.
He never gave LSU the time of day until very late in the process this past recruiting year.

Carter ought to be thankful that he has an opportunity at a school like Bama instead of bashing LSU. What purpose does it serve?

It's a plot against LSU recruiting. Remember the Hootie Jones bullshite? Whether Bama coaches told him to do it or he did it on his own, it's a bush league tactic.

Remember when Luther Davis told ESPN that Miles told him Saban was the devil?

Did Saban scrap his "freshman-don't-talk" policy? If not, this guy is getting off to a great start.

He doesn't seem the type to do this.
Maybe he should.

Where you come from is a part of you, whether you like it or not. I'm a strong believer in the fact that if you don't like where you come from, it's probably because you don't like yourself.

Good luck Carter, I'm sure you'll be transferring in two years.

These young adults are told by everyone they knew growing up that they are proud of them and most if not all of the people who really know him are looking at college as a stepping stone to the league.

It's probably the first time that people weren't just falling over themselves to be nice to him.

It's a part of growing up. The world is bigger than your hometown.

I don't see what the big deal is... We got the DB's we really wanted. This is LSU football new era. We have all the players we need. There are guys lining up to play DB and any other position at LSU. The only reason why LSU even considered him, is because he is an instate player.

We will see him playing in 2018 or who knows he might transfer before then. Of course he wouldn't start or even be a part of this years rotation anyway.

No hard feelings, I just wish they would start him this year so LF7 could put him on a highlight reel when he runs over him or when Guice Jukes by him, or when our receivers leave him in the dust...

He barely finished in the top 10 in the 100 meter dash between 1A & 2A at the state track meet. He finished last in the high jump in 1A AND Kentwood didn't even ask him to run in any of the relays. Keep in mind, we're talking 1A ball. So, I don't think the Tigers are missing much. Just my take.

Of course the world is bigger than your hometown. I didn't say otherwise. Traveling extensively and even living elsewhere is really good for you, lots of research shows this.

But, hating where you're from is likely more of a reflection on you than it is on the place you're from.

What did he run? I thought he hit 4.37 on the camp circuit with a laser.

He's from Kentwood..... We all know the crazy that comes out of that place. I'm sure the walmart shirt wearing fans are crushing him, and he's just doing it right back.
