Our depth at DT is insane. Not sure if that affected his decision or not, but it's not out of the question.

LSU will be badass again next year. The difference is this is not a one shot wonder. The depth is happening and Shone better not be gone to long because we are comin!

Coach Ellis isn’t the problem. It’s the culture of going to school in New Orleans when most of those kids are looking for a way out and an escape and Baton Rouge isn’t much of an escape for them.

I think your thoughts should mimic the way a pr department would sound:

quote:

Hypothetical: While we are sad to hear that Shone has decided to decommit, LSU’s program still has a high opinion of the young man and hope that he decides to be a Tiger in the end-geaux shone.

If you all thought this way, your lives would be easier and we wouldn’t come off as sounding like a bunch of mouth breathing 60 year olds with a jitterbug.

Boy is that an understatement. About the only place close to as bad as New Orleans is Baton Rouge.

A bad combination for a lot of people that follow recruiting these days.

It’s no longer “did we get him or not?” It’s top 10 lists, camps, insiders, ranking updates, commitments, decommits, early signing periods, etc.

It's his grades and lack there of. He isn't signing anywhere if he doesn't get it together.

Would someone please explain to these 17 and 18 year old skulls full of mush what the definition of the word commitment is.

Maybe someone should explain to your brain of mush how the recruiting process works. No one cares what commitment means to you, it's a completely different context.

quote:

A verbal commitment is stating your intention to enroll in a particular school, and that school’s promise to give you financial aid but it is not official. It is a non-binding oral agreement between you and the university.

Guess what, the schools break their promise too! I'm sure you bitch about that as well.

Washington would be lucky if he saw the field in year 3 at LSU. Roy, Smith, Guillory among others are elite prospects that will be the main rotation players over the next three years and anyone coming into the interior line during 2022 is all but signing themselves to the bench until this 2020 and 2021 group is gone. Smith and Roy should be the most dominant pair of tackles in a while....id be scared of them too
