LSU shouldn't have told Shea last year in front of his Mom that they don't offer Soph QB's, then go out and offer Franks and an 8th grader soon thereafter.

Ohhh I'm not mad. Patterson is going to Ole miss 100% but a lot of you retards are going to be wanting les miles head when Patterson beats us for the next 3 years. People can talk trash about ole miss but there 2016 recruiting class might be top 5 when it's all said an done. Besides Alabama I believe ole miss will be LSU biggest games...

So, he's gonna start as a true Frosh, then proceed to do something that not even Archie nor Eli could do in three tries..go 3-0 vs LSU..
And Ole Miss coming into a top 5 class is all of sudden negate or surpass LSU having just that(top 5 class) a probable three straight times by 2016.
Not saying Freeze doesn't have them on the uptick, but Jeez, pump the brakes a lil. Example, ATM has had like three straight top 10 classes, and at least like two of them were only good enough for fourth best in the SEC West that class, and you see where they finish yearly thus far.
And nobody, even Negatigers like myself, have a beef with CLM over losing a QB to Old Myth when Freeze just hired his brother away from LSU, and gave Sean his first real bigtime gig.

Firstly don't use the mannings as comparisons cause they were at ole miss ages ago...but my point was if you haven't noticed ole miss has slowly been on the rise the last couple years. They have started to recruit better and better athletes every year so say what you'd like now but the next couple years the 3 teams to beat in the SEC will be bama, LSU (if we figure out our QB), and ole miss. Just wait and see. Patterson is going to ole miss cause there they will give him the keys to the offense and have made him there center piece for the 2016 class to build around him while at LSU we treated him as just an option. LSU will be fine just like it always has but Patterson will definetly elevate ole miss since they haven't had a QB of his talent since the mannings. Should be some fun games in the future.

But LSU decided not to just rely on one guy to hold a commitment.
Fortunately for LSU, they have the opportunity to make SP regret his decision, on the field.

"big 3" in football recruiting may be the dumbest shite I ever heard.....
ONE or TWO recruits does not make or break this class. LSU coaches have shown in the past when they lose out on 1 guy, they replace him with another one as good or better.
LSU class for 2016 will be loaded with LBs and DTs and Franks and another very good QB. If Patterson chooses Ole Miss, It will be his mistake.....remember, they will ALWAYS BE A RUNT!

lol... People have been saying that about Ole Miss for a few years now, and where has that gotten them? Besides, I think you're forgetting what Auburn, A&M, and others have done recruiting-wise. So, great, for two years Ole Miss might be one of the three to beat - that's some awesome longevity you're giving them.

I'd never want LSU to hire a guy who isn't deserving. His brother has been a GA for short time. If it wasn't for Shea, he'd likely be at that position for a while longer. I'm glad that LSU didn't go for it. It'll be that much sweeter when we're whipping Ole Miss and their hired guns' monkey asses the next few years.
