They lead for Surtain, not Cook.

It's starting to look like Cook is heading to the below .500 Texas and Raymond is throwing a last minute hail mary for Green.
It'd be nice to have one or the other, but I'm still perfectly content with landing the consensus #1 CB and bringing in a few of the studs we lead for in 2019

After Texas stole Sterns, I wouldn't mind punching back by taking Cook or Green. They have a TON of DBs in their class, might scare 1 person away. Kind of disappointed Sterns isn't back in the fold here. We may lose Washington to TCU.

Yeah I am thinking Cook is leaning Texas but they do have a shite ton of DBs at the moment. I hope the lure to quick playing time and DBU is enough to get him to sign with us.

Cook is going to Texas. That's pretty obvious.
Green appears to be a replacement for Cook but I think he sticks with the Horns as well.
LSU is going to need to load up on corners next year if they only bring in Surtain for 18.

How is that obvious? What's changed in the last week and a half since he pushed back his announcement? It was looking all Texas going into his announcement date, but since he postponed, I haven't read anything about what's going on with him.
His postponement seemed like a good thing for us to keep working on him. From what I've read, it doesn't really seem like he wants to go to Texas. The best thing he's said about them is that he would be playing for his state. When he talks about LSU he talks about being developed as a defensive back.
So, what inside info do you have about Cook to say it's obvious he's going to Texas?
That said, I don't think there's anything wrong with pushing for Green as well. I think we'll get one of the two.

What's the latestest news on communications between and chances with LSU and Isaac Taylor-Stuart and/or Tyson Campbell and/or Tyreke Johnson?
I keep expecting Caden Sterns to come back around, esprcially if Cook goes to uTX and Green sticks at uTX too. LSU would have, hopefully, Surtain and Kelvin Joseph, who can play either CB or SAF, so LSU could take either a quality SAF or quality CB, or both, albeit starting to look like a 3 DB class (4 max).

Right. But that's not new information and those were pouring in prior to him postponing his announcement. If it was a slam dunk for Texas, he wouldn't have postponed. He's obviously still thinking about it.
That said, your post prompted me to check out 247 and he has received 3 new CBs to Texas today. Before today, there had been none to come in after he postponed though.

The same thing happened in Chaisson’s recruitment. The cbs came rolling in for Texas from everybody.

I've asked several times but haven't gotten an answer yet.. where is the talk about Washington going to TCU coming from? And what are the reasons?
