I’m sure Bama told him they would just give his spot to a starter from somewhere else via the portal if he waited. Probably a bluff, but that doesn’t even matter. Even two months is a tight timeline for building new relationships from scratch with a new staff.

We have a coach with a brain now instead of a potato.

Guys I trust that watched both Jarvis and Shazz play damn near every game have unequivocally stated that Jarvis was a much better player coming out. All three guys said that Shazz is good enough to play in the SEC West, but felt he was not a “must get” like Terrance, Chase , Boutte, or Brian Thomas coming out of HS.
