Forget LSU; for a very long time, even the SEC has had a lack of white LBers who have been great.

What's ridiculous? LSU not churning out white LBs worth a darn? It's a statistical reality. Who is the last white LB to be drafted from LSU? We're talking LSU here, not Ohio State.

Ron Sancho was the last difference maker we had at LB who was a honky, and that was 30 years ago. We've had a big name or two since (Mconathy) but none panned out.

This isn't controversial to me. Anybody who played sports understands IN GENERAL blacks are better athletes than Whites. You do have your Todd Kinchens, Cooper Cupps, and the Bosa sisters, but by and large it's true. Grass is green (for the most part) also.

With that said, I want the best player at each position that gives my Tigers the best chance to win each game. I'm sure most big time coaches, and especially BK, will do just that.

The NFL is full of white LBers

So they are plenty that are good enough.

I agree. I think there are stereotypes that limit opportunities for Caucasian athletes in some regions.

I read a thread on On3 about Tackett and Whit Weeks, and I'm like, "I'm not sweating a white LB coming or not coming to LSU."

You see, Tackett is not coming to LSU. Therefore, he is just some overrated slow white LB who can’t make it in the SEC. Weeks is going to LSU, which means he’s ranked way too low and will be a stud LB.

Seriously? Do you really even notice?
