Wasn't it Ffrench that was Underwood's main target at a 7 on 7 earlier in the spring? We always find a Louisiana athlete that comes out of nowhere that we sign, coach him up and makes it to the NFL. It will all work out.

We really need Sampson to step up this year and make some plays when given the opportunity. Could at him up for a huge breakout junior season. Haven’t heard much about him this offseason though.

I think he is down the line on depth chart behind Thomas, Lacy, Daniels, Anderson, and Hilton. He will get his chance though he will have to make the best out of the opportunities he gets. I know people was talking about Parker looked good also.

Underwood seemed to have the most chemistry with Zay Martin and Harlem Berry(I realize he’s a back) over any other receivers.

They've already ran k.parker in with 1st team in practice/spring so it's clear he will be next up.portal not going to be a worry here.
Now Sampson was a true freshman and very green hopefully he will adjust to sec football.portal could be a possibility if he doesn't show progress.
Louisiana is never Short on wrs so between kids who want to come home and teams with too much talent and not enough playing time LSU will always be competitive at the WR position.

Rumor I heard with Sampson is …. has all talent in the world but is very very skinny and gets pushed around.
Very tall but doesn’t help with skinny frame.

Way down the depth chart.

Our strength program should help that in 12-18 months. Does he not have the drive to be elite?

i think we lose Daniels, Lacy, and Hilton to the draft. If you're talking portal, any one or two of Sampson, Anderson, and Parker.

I 100% believe Thomas is coming back for his senior year. He'd be a surefire starter. Outside of that, Billiot and Watkins are most definitely back. Let's be on the cautious side and say we get only one of Sampson/Parker/Anderson back. That's only four. So we need at least 4 WRs in this class. That would give us a minimum of 8.

Right. This is correct. People on here act like just cause lsu always has receivers that the trend will continue.

You have to keep recruiting and hitting on guys. I think Parker, billiot, and jelani Watkins are the future at the position. If they don't hit you have to have players to take their spots.

Yeah I did hear during spring they wanted him to add more weight. He could easily play at 205-210lbs at 6-4.

Also with BK mentioning Watkins which just made it this summer Sampson really needs to pick it up.

Ffrench, Wright and Washington would be a good group. Berry will line up all over the field. TE room is stacked. Underwood could do some things with this group.
