it's a way of fans to cope if he doesn't come to LSU.

I just think we have some guys that can be moved around depending on how the whole situation works out. Lache is a definite take IMO.

You never know.

I'm just saying he isn't coming to Auburn unless there is some MAJOR cover up going on.

I believe if Lache wanted to come than the coaches would make a way for him to come here. However if he don't come its not the end of the world.

Lache may be the next Reggie Bush/Dexter McCluster or he could be the next running back who simply didn't pan out. That choice will be up to him.

Lache is very fast and very quick, however if he isn't willing to run in-between the tackles and if he fumbles alot he will not see the field at LSU. Shep fumbled a few times and he hardly saw the field after the fumbles. Do you really think Les will play Lache if he don't come hard in practice every day and has fumble issues??

We'll take him if he wants in.The staff has put too much into him to not accept him.Don't think it matter though.I think Oregon.

The wild tiger or various option plays with Russel Sheppard at QB and Lache in the back field would be sick.

This would require a coaching staff that utilized the team's talent effectively

We need OL who can block way more than a 178 lb RB. Use that slot for another big ugly

Calling it, AU, a whole two weeks ahead of time. Really hope the kid goes to Oregon if not here though, and takes it to Kiffin and USC for 3/4 years

Going to Oregon when they already have LaMichael James who is exactly the same style and only sophomore, when LSU and Auburn don't really have anyone who is that style of back, would be pretty dumb

Agreed about AU completely, but as for us, we certainly do have extremly capable scat backs. Trying to be objective, but I would venture to say that we are plenty happy with Russell Shepard, who will fill that role, plus special packages and as a slot receiver. As for the 2010 class, we did recruit our next best option, Gore, and I believe he has a chance to do very well in that roll also

However my gut and head says that he picks the Oregon Ducks.

I'll join ya with that prediction.

Count me in this group of guessing the Ducks.

honestly, would anyone be surprised if he packs up and leaves for some team thats not on that list?

IMO, he would be a great fit at either Oregon or Auburn.

Honestly, I think he might surprise a lot of people and actually pick LSU.

LSU is the closest to Temple, TX, so his family doesn't have to travel as far and he has a fiancee who goes to school at LSU.

A little something I saw just now. Take it for what its worth, it talks about all the schools he's looking at.

I like LSU's chances more and more. Good recruiting and immediate need on the depth chart, plus the strong push the coaches have been making, seem to indicate he could be headed to Baton Rouge.

This is the kind of stuff we have seen all year now. It's no different now just because the article seems to favor LSU.
