He was a OL his sophomore year and that's what really jumped him up boards. Last season he switched to DT and had an injury I believe. Back at OT this year as supposedly looks good.

I mean you gotta laugh if a soft arse program like OU out-recruits us on the Lines
I can understand QB because it’s an easy path in the B12. But if Cregg and Orgeron get beat here it’s on them, especially knowing there’s a good chance Riley won’t likely be there for a large part of these kids’ careers

OU is an o-line factory.
It will be a cold day in hell before we out-recruit you on the DL though. Or anywhere on that side of the ball.

I would absolutely kill to have Bedenbaugh on this staff and have OU's OL recruiting. It'd be a complete gamechanger.

Factory is a bit strong
Cody Ford was from Louisiana and LSU let him out. Give credit to OU for his success but he was not a highly rated kid. Adrian Ealy was the same. OU has a great Center but it’s not hard to draw kids from right in your backyard.
If Tristan Leigh comes across the country from the eastern seaboard and chooses OU over a defending champion from the SEC then the bottom line is our coaching staff sucks at selling.

Orlando Brown came from the eastern seaboard to OU and is now a pro bowl tackle for the Ravens.
OU is in the very upper echelon of offensive line development. I’m not saying that as a shot at LSU, because you all are there too.

We are having a recruiting prowess conversation. Brown is a good player but he was also a 3-star player from Georgia that UGA et al didn’t want, and ended up being a 3rd round pick.
So it’s not like we’re talking about OU reeling in 5-star OLs from around the country and turning out high level draft picks.
When I think OLine, schools like Bama, UGA, and a ton of Big Ten schools comes to mind. Maybe USC out west. I think of a lot of schools before the Sooners cross my mind. Just telling it like I see it, this is not meant to be a shot either.
