LF, speedy, cam, Quinn, Dupre, McDowell, godcheaux, hootie, Garrett, brown. We will have room calm down! Congrats Santos!
That's 10. That would make it 25 right? Then we don't take anyone else but those high pro filers???
The other DB's are hootie and Brown. Think we may not have a chance because of this offer? I just don't know. But they do.

It seems at times that LSU staff gets a little desperate sometimes with some of these offers. I firmly believe that there is a reason many of these guys don’t get big time offers.
You have to remember the preseason ratings of this kids are based a lot on their last season’s performance.
You are dealing with 16 and 17 year old kids. They mature and grow into their bodies at different times. One kid that was a junior last year may not have grown into their body, become coordinated, or muscled up as another one.
In fact there is a reason why teenagers are so gangly and why a 5’5” kid has more agility than a 6’9” kid. They have not grown into the size of their bodies. You are taking about big kids for football.
I trust an evaluation at a camp more than a sportswriter’s evaluation. Especially Miles and his coaches given there past success.
Remember Texas finishes its recruiting in the summer and always has a top 10 class. But they don’t play for the championship. Maybe they miss some late bloomers that are better.

He earned an offer at camp the same day we had all of the elite wr's here. Kid must have played great. Welcome aboard.
yeah if you can impress the coaches enough to offer a scholly when going up those guys im excited. Impressed coaches covering the best WR's in the nation for 2014
welcome aboard and congrats to the kid. what an exciting day for him

Those highlights posted make him look like more of a Safety than a CB. Judging only highlights, he sheds blocks well, plays the run game very physically, and loves to light receivers up after the catch. Although he seems like he potentially could play either position. His CB technique was physical and he has the speed to not let guys get past him.
Those refs are some flag happy MFers too in that video.

I have officially accepted that while Ramirez has an official offer, he is not officially committed.

the kids a fricking stud, i dont give a shite how many stars he has but when you are 6'2 and run a legit 4.4 and you crush peoples souls like this kid does....you are a damn good football player
I'm sold... Anyone that steals souls is a keeper!

Welcome aboard Santos!

Thomas, Raymond, and Holmes will need to make their presence felt or they are on their way out.

I will take Ramirez.. it's better than the Russell gage kid that did good at camp. his film is weak. at least Ramirez is a stud on film and showed up big time at Monday's camp when all the elite receivers were there.
hate to see kids who have good camps take a spot we will need later. this is not the case with Ramirez... welcome aboard

I believe he was told before he committed that he was recruited to be a CB per his request.
Maybe. And maybe he plays there. But he just strikes me as a guy who will eventually be PAID to be a safety, so over time he'll gravitate there.
If the tea leaves say your pro prospects are at a certain position, you'll find the want to play said position eventually.
But if the kid stays at corner and excels, good for him.
