last 72 hours on campus w/ camp:
- thrown out some big offers
- got a national commitment
- official visits are huge
- in search of a 23 QB

kerry cooks, robert steeples, BK are all involved w/ 'cruits
- BK is the "closer" who comes in at the end
- sherman wilson & jordan arcement are huge helps from support staff
- "when BK sits a 'cruit down, it speaks for itself"
- Top JUCO LB has been a hot name
- sanford and jefferson are 2 LB's to keep an eye on

Zalance Heard OL from neville
- taking an open approach, talking to nebraska
- LSU very much in the mix
- worked out with Brad Davis and even stayed during the whole weekend which is huge
- if LSU isn't the favorite, they're amongst the favorites
- he's a bonafide OT (coachable, very smart, switched from DL to OL and ABSOLUTELY looks the part)

Kaleb Jackson RB, Liberty Magnet HS
- #1 RB in LA
- looks like LSU will bring him home, as well as trey holley - keeping top LA backs at home
- he's Johnathan Taylor 2.0

Jordan Matthews - CB from Woodlawn BR, #1 CB
- looking like Texas or Bama are taking him
- LSU not in his top 4
- still have time to work in OT for this kid

Darren Reid, DE from GA 4*
- LSU in his top 4, Georgia isnt in there
- we've gotten him on campus and need DL to reload
- LSU in a good spot, Miami heating up too

Arch Manning
- finished up visits in tuscalousa, athens, and Austin
- Alabama, UGA, and texas are leading
- goal is to have a decision before season starts

Shelton Sampson Jr., 5* WR from Catholic BR
- CB'd 100% to LSU

Derek Williams, 5* Safety from Westgate
- CB'd 100% to LSU

"insiders" & "experts" were always suspect. Now with NIL, they don't know shite.

Alabama offered Matthews 4 days before LSU but LSU “disrespected” him by not offering early enough

LSU needs to quit slow playing Harvey Broussard.

If he was in a spread offense, he would be a four-star. Saint Martinville throws the ball a good bit, but they are going to establish the run.

It would be bad if you guys let Florida, Ole Miss or Baylor snatch him up

Is this the kid that Gumps were counting on for signing the dancing TE?

LSU is 12 miles down the road and absolutely slow played Matthews.

I've always felt like broussard is severly underrated. Big body but has some wiggle

Or they wanted him to get verified track times and see him perform

Its BS that these kids hold LSU to some insane high bar that none of these other schools have to jump over especially with a new staff and most of these coaches just meeting these guys for the first time

And what happens if they wouldve offered Matthews earlier but he under performs and they pull the offer? Then the LA HS coaches are still mad

There are no CBs on Williams and 99% RPM pick to Bama on ON3.

I really want this kid. I believe he is way underrated and nobody brings him up. IMO, he could legit push for starter at LSU next year.
