The kid was on the “bootlegger’s” with Anderson, turning heads. Which is why LSU offered him.I understand, he had to get healthy, but when he performs on the field, better than most, I don’t see him hanging around. It is what it is. I hope it is an SEC team, so he can validate his talent.

Ask the media…. They know what’s up.

Not when both first teams are on the field. Any guess as to which players run routes against the first string CBs when not in a scrimmage setting?

It is what it is, talent will find its way. But this kid stayed committed to LSU, because he did have to get his hips straight. And he is not scared of competition. But you can clearly measure yourself to others and know where you stand.

Look, it’s good he can evaluate himself against LSU WR’s. It makes that decision to take his talents elsewhere.

You think he is a scrub, is your opinion. I have seen film of him against our so called starting CB’s, and he will go wherever he wants.

Nobody's called Ibieta a scrub. He's just an odd man out on a loaded depth chart this season.

Also, we don't know who the starting CB's are yet.

We shall see how the staff handles this. I’m just here to say I told you so.

Yes, you have made it perfectly clear that you are personally invested in a single player.

Welcome to the board Mr. Ibieta, we all like your son.

BUT:

Shouldn’t you wait for him to actually do something in division 1 football before you say “I told you so”?

I’m also not sure why you think he’s being disrespected. By your own admission he hasn’t been healthy so I’m not sure when he should have been playing?

Also the media talks constantly about camp and I haven’t read or heard any of them talk about Ibieta. I hope he sticks it out like Chris Hilton and becomes a stud when his number is called.

I am not associated with the Ibieta family. But, I am aware the competition on the field.

I appreciate sharing what you know, but if he’s better than most, why wouldn’t he stick around? I mean, he’s pre-med and has a high football IQ, so surely he’s smart enough to know he’ll see the field a ton before his eligibility is up if what you say is accurate.

I love your passion and don't expect you to say who you are or how you have access to the practices but can you link us to any media talking about Ibieta?

I am not trying to say he isn't good but he has a lot of good upperclassmen at his position that have all been praised by the media all camp. So he'd have to be so above and beyond so many other players to get in the rotation and that just hasn't been reported as such.

It's quite the quandary. He's been both hurt and unable to play, while simultaneously being overlooked and disrespected.

LSU both mishandled his development and also was patient with him and got him to a point where he could contribute.

Weird times.

There is a culture developing, good, bad, or indifferent, “out of my control” gets a lot of use.

Commitment goes both ways.

Listen Riddler, either say what you want to say or frick off. At this point you are acting like their is a conspiracy to make sure Ibieta doesn't play. You sound like a crazy person who bumped a 6 month old thread to post cryptic messages. WTF are you jabbering about?

Gawd this is the most tiresome, played out, overused, unoriginal comment on here. Yall let it go. Who cares even if it is? All opinions contain some level of bias based on a multitude of things. Hell, I wish all 85 scholarship players Momma, Daddy, Auntie, did actually all post periodically on the rant, then we'd actually have some real insiders here.
