Well, idk if this is true, But I certainly did not hear it first from you. I’ve been hearing that from multiple sources for a year.

To continue the pipeline for future Amite/Tangi HS kids while bragging they stole the #1 DT in LSU's backyard.
That's one dry-arse pipeline...

Why the frick does LSU continue to waste resources in an area that Bama has bought?

Don't we have a couple high profile guys from Ponchatoula?

Ed Alexander maybe?

I honestly wonder if he is physically able to cut hair being that fat. Seems like he would have his gut all over you while cutting.

Quite possible 2A state championship game many vs. Amite puts M. Warren(UT commit) vs. Sopsher. Not that they would be going against each other as both are DL.

Sanders travels to Tuscaloosa once every 3-4 weeks to cut DeVonta Smith’s hair. I’m sure he gets compensated well.

We won’t move on from this kid but we need to. He may or may not pan out, but we can’t keep being strung along until signing day and lose out on other prospects. Plus, his brother taking a scholarship is a complete waste.

LSU can't completely pull out. Bama can't take everybody. All it takes is one or two recruits to have to be told to greyshirt or have an offer pulled and things can change.

We missed out on many guys by not playing the game. Going back to bridgewater and his receiver Eli something. Then cam Robinson by not offering cam sims. Many times the second guy ended up being pretty good. Give him a scholly it will be fine hell we can use all the help we can get on the d line

I wish LSU would put as much effort into recruiting one of the highly rated DL in Mississippi as they have the Sophsers. That would be time and resources better spent.

Franklinton is 15 to 20 minutes from amite and LSU has never lost anyone from there that they wanted.

Franklinton is “all LSU” mainly because the Taylor family (Mr. Taylor, Jhryn, Curtis, and Brandon) have been such a positive influence to kids like Terrance Magee, Derrick Dillon, and others who live there. Young Franklinton ballers want to play at LSU and be like the Taylor’s who are so well respected.

Amite is owned by Sam Petito and Vincent Sanders who influence these young kids. Every Friday and Saturday night, 40-50 high school kids fill the barbershop to watch HS game highlights and CFB games. The barbershop is full of Alabama pictures, posters, and paraphernalia.

Who is this We you're talking about? If you mean We this board, I agree we are hung up on him and who cares. If you mean We the actual people that matter, our coaches, then they prob have their reasons and I doubt seriously that they are spending too much of their time and money on someone who isn't coming here. We have to keep his offer open, but I doubt we are counting on or spending a ton of resources on him these days.
